Road Warrior Express

It's simple. I'm a self-funded entrepreneur and have no tolerance or budget for luxury or vacation hotel amenities. I'm up early and back late so I just wanted a freeway close inexpensive and safe accommodation with no hassles. In a word - or two - I hate wasting money. The Days Inn in Moore, Oklahoma provided just that. No pretensions, morning breakfast for a quick escape and a freeway ramp right out in front. Also, free wi-fi and a work desk with power sockets on top of the desk.

Adequate for an Over Night Stay

It was an easy off and easy on the highway. It was clean. However, I was surprised as I expected a newly renovated hotel based upon previous posts. The room was a little dated and worn. Regardless, the bed was comfortable and the inclusive breakfast was very good and more extensive than other more expensive places. They provided scrambled eggs, sausage links, make your own waffles, cereals and all the required fixings and beverages. It was only about a ten minute ride to the heart of the city. I would stay there again if traveling through the area and needed an over night respite.

Days Inn Oklahoma City/[...]

The hotel was very clean and the employees were very friendly. When we first rolled in there was a police baracade just west of the hotel, but that didn't hinder the stay at all. Rooms were extremely nice. Very affordable and overall a great stay.

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

Probably not the best area to just be wandering around in later at night, and the walk itself to get to surrounding restaurants would be sort of lengthy, but the service roads around are very easy to navigate.

Days Inn - Moore/Ok City

Convienent location, noisy due to interstate, I was impressed with the room and price until I noticed a roach climbing the wall. Staff was friendly. Room location was wierd, climbed stairs 2 times until I found the right stairwell (stairwells did not connect) to find the room.

Not weekend ready

The hotel was nice but there was a party going on outside on the floor below us which made us feel that our vehicle may not be too safe.
