This was the first time I booked a hotel with plane fare. It turned out well. The room was spacious and clean--better than ... I expected. The nightly rate was a good buy. It was also my first time in Oklahoma City and my hotel stay added to a great experience with a family member that I had not seen for several years.

A beautiful facility with a few issues.
Loyalist Michael Jul 20, 2009
One of the nicer-looking hotels we've seen in a while, with an impressive lobby and fascinating decor. Nice rooms, but ours ... hadn't been vacuumed. Several pools, and our room had a back door access to a nice outdoor pool that was especially pleasant in the 106-degree heat. Unfortunately, there was a total of one person to staff the two restaurants that were open, so to get a meal we had to walk across the highway to a sports bar. We got about 60% off the regular rate with Orbitz.

Worst rate and worst stay
Susan Jul 18, 2009
July 17, 2009 A friend had mentioned to check this sight to get a great deal, but after booking my reservation I check the ... main sight of the hotel and found out I could have had the room for $4.00 cheaper. I had taken my girls for a night out for a late Mother's Day gift. After checking in at the front desk the girl gave me map to show me were my room would be, but never asked if it was my first time to stay and to give me any other information that goes with the rate. My girls and I took our stuff in the room and to our suprise we were put in a handicap room. The room didn't smell good, they had an iron but no ironing board. The coffee pot was station inside the bathroom were the shower and toilet was. You had to push the microwave door in for it to work. The color on the t.v. was turning green when you have it to long. The remote control was a cheap kind the you could only move the arrow up and down or side to side. Plus you have to move it around so they would connect to the signal. The next morning the bathroom had a bug crawling on the floor and the bathtub had several hair. The door to the courtyard had so much space that you could see between the gap. The bed were my girl sleep was so lumpy that it hurt their back. The blanket was so worn out that you thought it was torn. I had to jiggle the switch on the lamp by the bed for it to come on. My girls was woken up at 6:00 a.m with people yelling in the hall way. I finally got up at 6:30 and you could hear everyone in the hall way talking. The continental breakfast was terrible and they really didn't even have a place for people to be able to seat and have coffee. They only had donuts, coffee, apples, oranges and tang for orange juice. We went back to our room to eat breakfast. The donut was not great. When I was checking out they could not give me a copy of the receipt. Before recommending some one to Orbit.com, I will also tell them to make sure to check the hotel's direct web sight. I will also not recommend any one to stay at Biltmore Hotel I understand they have different kind of rate at their hotel. But they need to give everyone the same courtesy and care as the high rate room. I would rather pay more and have a good night sleep than paying for a low rate hotel and have the experience my girls and I just did. I think next time I will stay at the Hampton Inn and pay the higher rate and I will make sure I check the direct sight of the hotel before booking. All in all BAD EXPERIENCE

Bars and more!
Lady HOG rider Jul 1, 2009
The hotel was jam packed! There was a dog show in the area and a reptile show in one of the banquet halls! Had queen sheets ... on the king bed one of the three nights. Not enough coffee pots to go around. Not enough ice buckets to go around. Night manager gave me a pitcher from the restaurant for an ice bucket. She was the best Manager and very customer oriented! Had a great time! 3 bars on site! Restaurant had great buffets for breakfast and supper. I would go back.

Would be great for kids - NOT a 3 star !
Travelers Two Jun 2, 2009
Hallways were very worn & dirty, stairways were disgusting, bathroom grout was filthy(floor wasn't much better). Lots of ... kids, so was often noisy. A HUGE place, very spread out and ALL restaurants were smokey from cigarettes. Definitely NOT a 3 star, barely a 2 star would be more appropriate. Would not recommend.

This was a business trip. The hotel was Very Clean with Friendly Service. Would have felt safer if had Keycard entrance for ... lobby doors. Get rid of birds in Garden. They wake you up at 4am. Dave May 28, 2009
I was pleasantly suprised. The location was not so bad good nieborhood, pleanty of restraunts all around.American Staffed and ... very interested in my comfort. Great big restraunt, good food. 3 bars but only one was open when I arrived. Very smokey in there. Room service was not open when I arrived. But I could have walked across the parking lot to dennys but it was 11:00p.m. and I was tired. Bedsread, and bathroom and furniture was outdated but still the room was very clean. Its also about a mile from the water park. I will definatley be back. Great security also. Big complex probably was the place back in the 80's or 70's. I come to OKC alot three times a month. And this is by far best value for the dollar!!

Perfect for last minute.
mcmullenra May 28, 2009
I have stayed here many times. They have both indoor and outdoor pools. If you want peace and quiet you do not want to be ... in the same building as the indoor pool because it is open until 11 p.m. which is great if you are a family traveling and need somewhere to sit inside and watch the kids from your bedroom window as they play. It is located on I-40 which is less than 15 minutes from Tinsel Town, the races, the fairground, the zoo and of course Penn Square. Its very convenient and has both a microwave and a refrig in our double room. Will stay there again of course.

Reasonably priced, good location
Beat-up Old Road Warrior May 15, 2009
Good news: Perfect location, great price, decent rooms, pretty comfortable bed by hotel standards, the cleaning staff is ... awesome (enough of an exception to note these days), free local phone calls and the wireless (kind of slow, but you can't beat the price). Bad news: There was a dog show in town that week and this place takes pets (not a bad thing for people who travel with their pets, of course). I ended up in the canine wing, up to my behind in lasso apsos and their incessant yapping (not really a slam on the hotel, but something to be aware of). The place could use a repaint and some freshening, but value-wise I'd have to say this is top five in the last decade I've been logging 100,000 miles a year.

Leo's Barbecue, 7 Harrison Ave. Near the state capital complex, punch it in your GPS if you've got one. Best BBQ I've ever had, and I look for it everywhere I go (as most road warriors will tell you, restaurant-hunting is one of the few joys of the endeavor).

Dog Show in Hotel-RED FLAG!
Weary May 13, 2009
My assoicate and I checked in to our separate rooms-there happened to be a dog show in the hotel-RED FLAG!! We were exhausted ... from traveling so wanted to rest, but the bed made my skin crawl and itch. Mold on the ceilings, workmen scraping the building right outside our window, furnishings falling apart...they even wrote in black marker "PROPERTY OF" on top of the mini-fridge-I mean come on, steal the fridge?! So we called another reputable hotel and left immediately-we didn't even call this hotel back to let them know, since it's obvious they don't care.
