Super 8 Norman

family reunion hotel was ok for price messed up reservation asked for handicap roonm was put up stairs but front desk changed our room to lower still was very hard to get to for an older person,

Close to I-35, shopping nearby.breakfast was less than we expected.

location great, older feel to hotel, staff wonderful and friendly. Lots of construction workers staying as guests, one was passed out on stairs at the back of the building in his shorts. Feeling safe outside our room was a concern.

ACCOMIDATIONS FAIR, SAFETY MAT ON BACK STAIRS HAD FALLEN OFF. HOLE IN COMFORTER

room was not cleaned. we were gone all day every day. only there at night.pee around toilet. no coffee or water cups;manager said he wopuld have to charge our room if we got them and his cleaning staff would not forget those items. also had dirty washcloth left on shower curtain rod. we had 3 towels and 3 washcloths for 4 people.manager was very rude.

I stayed here during a business visit to OU. I arrived late, but they held the room for me. Other than a long check-in process, this stay was great. The room was clean and quiet, despite the fact that the place was packed for a sporting event. They had a nice indoor pool area too, which I am not used to seeing at Super 8 locations. I had free wireless access in my room, and there is also a computer with a printer in the lobby. The location was great too--close to the OU campus and not far from the National Weather Center. Great shower. The price was very reasonable. It's not luxury, but it's definitely clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Had to hunt down employee to check in, wasn't real friendly. Next morning went to breakfast cold donuts no hot water for oatmeal or for tea. No waffle except m-f, it was Saturday. Asked for a receipt they wouldn't give me one.

When we arrived the clerk was texting on her cell phone. She did come fairly promptly. When I realized that we had a second floor room I asked if it could be changed to a downstairs room as I had fairly significant knee trouble. I was told that they were booked and there was no where I could be moved. I advised the clerk that we had stayed in this hotel 3-4 times a year (4-5 days each visit) for the last two years and surely there was one room where the guests who were to come had not had a standing connection with the hotel. She told me no. So...this was probably our last visit with you as I had 4 miserable days going up and down stairs...AND there is NO way that the hotel was completely booked for even one night of your stay much less the entire visit!!!!

Called to tell the staff that I would be arriving late, they were friendly and easy to understand. They said no problem and that they would leave a note. When I arrived I was welcomed and checked in quickly. Room was Clean and in good shape. We had no problems

I was strictly there for sleeping purposes only. The staff was great - breakfast left a little to be desired - but overall I was satisfied and will stay there again.
