Nothing to write home about...

Although the staff and the check-in were exemplary, the room leaves a little to be desired. I was in town for a Licensing exam, and the room was adequate for rest and business. However, the room had some issues: apparently OUR room, on the top floor was the wireless router hub for the 6th floor, and had a cluster of wires beside the bed. The door was loose, the room was obviously aged, and someone had absconded with the hair dryer. The Air unit had a patchwork fix on the controls, and there were dead crickets in between the curtain and the floor. The value for the room was not comparable to others in the area, as I paid right at $100 for one night's stay...

Close to OU

The hotel had nice furnishings, but was run down. The granite in the bathroom was coming loose from the wall, peeling paint, etc. But, the worst was that the mattress had a huge wet spot right in the middle, which we didn't know until the middle of the night. It seeped through the mattress pad & sheet, then through the towels we put on the bed while trying to keep dry. At check-out, we told the clerk, who did absolutely nothing but say she would have housekeeping check it out. It was disgusting and we were disappointed with her handling of the matter.

Weekend fun

Good place to say, but if you don't smoke be sure to request a non-smoking room. Otherwise you'll have a very smokey stay.

a little pricy

we went to our daughter's graduation at OU- we found the bed was too soft, the aircon and fan was too noisy so we had to switch it off at night- thereby it got rather stuffy at night. The breakfast was good

Good Hotel for Short Stays

When we got to the hotel, we noticed that the outside looked a little dated. Once inside the fears that it would be old, smelly and outdated went away. The inside was very nice and recently updated. The desk clerk was very friendly and gave us a free breakfast for the next morning. This was something that we didn't get to use, since we were meeting family for brunch. The only complaints that I had was that the bathroom was very dark and did not have a separate heater. Also they had a very nice flat screen tv, but failed to use good cables. The picture was very fuzy. Other than that, it was very modern and clean.

"The good, the bad, and the really ugly"

I enjoyed the [...] great customer service. Hot tub was too cool and pool was dirty. After spending some time in the bar, I was looking forward as the bed was very comfortable. I fell asleep and woke up the next morning with bites all over my legs, back and stomach. I itched for 3 days with these. I ended up having to throw away my suitcase and all my amenities as I didn't want the bed bugs in my home. I have a 91 yr old mother who doesn't need that. We washed the clothes and I tossed everything else other than my watch and Medic Alert chain. I have never spent such a night in a hotel. Also you are showing the full cost of the room which they cut my bill in half due to the troubles. Please correct this item.I'll never stay there again.

Perfectly Acceptable Option

Looked like a typical hotel room. Bathroom a little small for more than one person. Plenty of space and clean/comfortable. Very convenient to lots of restaurants and shopping along the I35 corridor.

some good, some bad

The room itself seemed clean and adequate, but the bathroom was tiny. Also, there were a couple of stray body hairs on the sheets, which makes me wonder if they were changed or not. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were thin and flat. The bathtub drain backed up when we showered and the amount of water coming out of the showerhead was pitiful. There was no Weather Channel on the tv, which was very inconvenient for us as we were going to an outdoor event and wanted to know the weather. Everything else was fine. The air conditioner worked well. The best thing about this hotel is the free, full breakfast the next morning. It was delicious, and everything was piping hot! Altogether, this hotel is OK, but not great. Some new ones are being built in the area, so maybe they will improve with competition.
