Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lawton

The staff was so helpful. My daughter and I came to visit Lawton as she is moving there in two months due to husband being stationed there. The staff gave us tips on apartments, things to do and places to eat. They were correct on all aspects. We will definitely be back

I was there for a family graduation. The hotel was great and we loved the continetial breakfast. I do think microwaves and refrigerators should be in all the rooms

It is easy to get from the hotel to the main shopping mall, restaurants and movie theaters. You will need a car to go anywhere in the area, and if new to Lawton, get a GPS. Very short drive to Fort Sills, the airport and visitors' information center.

I traveled to Lawton for my husband's military graduation from Ft. Sill. Knowing that I would get to spend time with him for the first time in seven weeks, I was looking for a nicer hotel, and assumed the Mariott stamp was a good bet. I can't say that my experience was quite what I expected. I will say that every member of the staff was extremely pleasant, and my frustrations were all minor points. Overall the hotel was perfectly fine, and my negative comments are derived from being very picky about hotels and service. My frustrations included walking into a very stuffy and smaller than expected room. The thermostat set at 76 with outdoor weather under 55 (and being two months pregnant) was not a happy discovery, but easily resolved. My other complaints are limited to the bathroom. Everything looked clean, until I saw residue of what looked like a facial scrub on the shower wall. I brought no such scrub. The last gripe, and the one that seemed least in line with Mariott standard, is directed at provided toiletries. In addition to the bars of soap were shampoo and conditioner. No lotion was provided, which seemed odd to me; the shampoo and conditioner were a brand that can be found in the $1 bin of travel toiletries at Wal-Mart. That particular fact is what made me feel that this hotel was less that what it could have been. I realize that the Fairfield is "by" Mariott, but in my opinion, the Mariott name still covers what to expect. Again, all of the comments are small, nit-picky points of frustration; however, small frustrations should still be voiced.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Great Continental breakfast in the mornings where you could make your own waffles and wonderful biscuits and gravy. I would stay here again.

This hotel was horrible for $126 a night. The worst money I have ever spent. Bed was hard as a rock. We showed up and they had given our room away after having it reserved for two weeks and payed for. Staff was not knowledgeable at all and took forever to get us situated and finally in a room.

Son's graduation from Fort Sill The outside pool was closed this was not disclosed when I looked on line that the pool is closed after Labor Day Good Breakfast

Room was clean. Bed appeared to be really fluffy but was a little hard. Drapes didn't close all the way, so with the street lighting it was a bit bright in the room. Was VERY misled by Orbitz in what type of room I was booking. Pics did not match booking. Asked front desk about it, but their only response was "well, they lie on the internet a lot". Prepaid for my room, but still had a $300 incidental hold placed on my card (was released days later). Desk person, again was not helpful. Only two eating places within walking distance. Had to get cabs for everything else. Things were very clean and the breakfast selection was good.

Very nice. Very pleasant stay. The staff was awesome!

Nice comfortable stay would have been better if the room had small ice box and microwave.
