There for the night
The room was nice and fresh. We had a noisy frig. that needed some adjusting. The breakfast had a good variety and large dining area. The kids were hoping the pool would have been open.

Well above avg for price - minor prob.
We arrived very late after a harrowing ten hour July 2nd drive through constant pouring rain had heavy traffic. All it would have taken is one slightly off kilter staff member to get me going on my 'customer service' speech. As it was the young lady smiled, was very cheerful, and brightened up the whole room. In ten minutes we were checked in, moved in, and kicking off our shoes. The room was clean and well laid out. The WIFI was an easy set up and the beds were heavenly. Maybe one HBO or Indie channel would have helped my wife relax but she just grabbed her book instead.The ONLY problem with the entire room was that the light switch that controlled the bed side lamps was broken. They offered to move us but we declined. They offered to fix the switch on the spot be we declined that too. It just wasn't any big deal.The AC worked, the water was warm (which is more than I can say for the Hilton in Las Vegas), the included breakfast was above average, the two queen beds came with extra pillows and a nice comforter.[...] The Hampton is located in an area with three other name brand motels. It was well lit and secure. Yes, we would stay there again and again.

There are numerous dining establishments just down the road on second street and on Broadway. If your GPS tries to take you there via the Turnpike it will cost you $0.60 USD. Just take a left on 2nd street and head west and start hunting. IHops, Outback, Chili's, independent of all types are all withing a ten to 12 minute drive.

GREAT HOTEL
Great Staff, very friendly. Room was spacious and clean and well kept. A/C would cool room at even temp. Refrigerator & Microwave was very nice to have to keep food and drinks. Out of all the Hampton Inn's (and any hotel) that we've stayed at, this is by far the best.

Very friendly
The staff was always very friendly and helpful. As a single woman on a business trip I felt safe and comfortable there. Fitnedss room was my only disappointment. Very little besides cardio equipment.

Excellent staff, nicest Hampton Inn I've stayed in, and that includes several in various states. Dont't try booking on a fall OSU football weekend...somehow those reservations are impossible to break through.
