Nice Stay
We've been to Durant several times and have always stayed at the Casino, but decided to stay here because the Casino has doubled their rates and it's now out of our budget. We thought the room was very comfortable and everything was clean, which is our main concern. Beds were excellent with pillowtop; lots of channels on TV. Had a unique window seat perfect for watching TV or reading without bothering others in room. Temps controlled well and blower was quiet. Had refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Staff was very nice both days, and helpful with questions or calling for shuttle. The shuttle to and from casino was wonderful and was there within minutes each time we needed it; drivers were very friendly. Would be a close walk in nice weather. Breakfast was typical comp-- biscuits, sausage gravy, lots of pastries, cereals, fruit, etc, but conveniently located and nicely decorated. The only gripe we had was that it was noisy as people were in and out all night from casino and you could hear every sound. Walls are paper thin. Another con, which was out of the hotel's control, was the nearby freight train which blares by every hour or two sounding its horn. We were on the south side, closest to train. Next time we will ask for a room on the north side. We were on ground floor but noticed there was no elevator to second floor so if you have a problem climbing, you might want to request a ground floor room on casino side.

All kinds of eating places and entertainment in nearby casino which is a short walk, but shuttle runs to and from, 24/7, and it's there in minutes.

Family getaway
The hotel was within walking distance of our getaway attraction.The room was clean and comfortable but we had to go to the desk each night for a set of towels as there were four of us but only three sets in the room. the house keepers were the friendliest people of the hotel. The breakfast was not up to the standard we are normally acustom to. check out was fast,easy, and trouble free.

The Roadhouse/KC Bar and Grill was especially good. Best steaks we have ever had. The service is somewhat slow but the person who was serving us was really great, easy to talk to and fun to chat with. Ask for Qt, you won't be sorry.

The price was right, but I really didn't want a smoking room and had requested a non-smoking room. Also, the hotel had no pool or hot tub, pretty much a necessity for me since I have arthritis. The hotel was at least in close proximity to the event I was going to so that helped. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and didn't cool very well.

There is a restaurant in the Choctaw Casino called I think 1382 and it is fabulous!! Very good food, a little pricey but you get quality food.

Perfect location close to the Casino
Went to the Casino. Shuttle service was great. Coffee pot in the room would have been nice. First time there.

Stones
It's "okay"....
We selected this motel given that it was so close to the Choctaw resort. Literally just across the parking lot. That was the best! The beds were not all that comfortable. One had the end broken down, because it was closest to the t.v. I was impressed that they had black handtowels and washcloths along with makeup remover towelettes. Nice touch! My biggest complaint (although not the hotels' fault) was the 5 trains that passed by between 1:00 am and 8:00 am!!
