this short trip was for unwinding and getting away. The hotel was great, just sign in and off to my room. I had a great bed, frig radar range ond a real coffee pot. The price was right and I have nothing to say but good things.

Nice place to stay at

Good location, right off I-51 (71st St, where most shopping places and restaurants are located, is just a mile away) - The staff was quite helpful (I couldn't get hot water in my shower and they fixed it rightaway) - Breakfast is ok - Wireless internet is indeed free, though the connection was a bit slow to me Definitely a good place to stay, I recommend it

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Shiloh's (just next door from the hotel) offers a low-price and very good food - Watch out though as they almost always close before what is announed on their door (8:30pm compared to 9pm)

super de

My husband and I were in Tulsa for a family reunion. We found the Clarion on Orbitz and the low price was right. Many hotels were much higher in that area. I was a little apprehensive but when I opened the door to the room I saw a clean room, much larger than I expected. Everything was spotless with a nice two part bathroom. The outside of the hotel was a little dated but the room made up for it. We are going back and will stay at the Clarion again.

choose wisely

The rooms were clean but the maintenece on the place was shoty like the lamps, alarm clock, and tv cords were hot glued into the socket because the wouldnt stay in if they werent. The elevators in the main building both of them made horrible sounds while they were in use such as cracking poping grinding, and the door didnt want to open, all in all the ride was interesting. The room service people obviously didnt understand the meaning of the do not disturb sign because two out of the four days we stayed there they tried to open the door while we were sleeping. The place was not to expensive so i guess you get what you pay for.

overpriced

The room was large and clean and very comfortable, until the air conditioner stopped working. I called the desk and was told they would have someone come up to check. I waited 15 minutes, then went to the desk where I was told here was no one to check the air conditioner. After I requested it, the lady was very helpful in moving us to another room. There was no on site restaurant and we had to drive several miles to an area with restaurants. Overall this is a nice and comfotable motel, however, it does not have the amenities I would expect for the price. There was an odd smell in both rooms we stayed in.

Dining tip: Not Applicable

There is a mcdonalds across the street and a steakhouse about 1/2 mile away, otherwise, it is a long drive to an area with restaurants.
