Bartlesville is also home to Frank Lloyd Wrights only skyscraper - The Price Tower. Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips Petroleum, built a world renown, Fortune 500 company. Today that company, Conoco Phillips, bases their Global Services operation from downtown Bartlesville, and as a result Bartlesville sports a substantial skyline for our community. For many years, visitors have also treasured the opportunity to visit the Frank Phillips Mansion just south of downtown. Located 38 miles north of the Tulsa International Airport, the Microtel Inn and Suites offers 56 rooms featuring single, double, expanded double and suite accommodations. ADA rooms and whirlpool suites are also available. All rooms are equipped with hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker and expanded cable TV selections. Suites also include a refrigerator and microwave. Bathrooms are tastefully appointed with granite counter tops and ceramic tile floors, as well as curved shower rods. We have stayed at this hotel over the past few years. The bedspreads are the same as they were years ago. The blanket had a cigarette burn hole in it and this is a non smoking room. A Q-tip was on the window sill. It was not ours. The room looked as though it was surfaced clean and not deep cleaned. We were very disappointed. I had reserved two rooms. I am thankful we were only in town for one night. The tv was outdated. We had an iron in the room but not an ironing board. This used to be a very nice hotel.
