Microtel Inn Ardmore

This hotel was Centrally located, clean, and to the point. The rooms were a bit small but a nice hotel.

Small, but nice

Everything was as I expected. A good room for the price. The room was clean, staff were pleasant. It is a small economy motel with small rooms & no frills. The shower could have been better, but after a day at the lake, it still felt good and the A/C froze us out. Absolutely no complaints as I expected a small economy motel. I am familiar with Ardmore Oklahoma and this motel was newer, cleaner, & better maintained than most in this area at this price. I would gladly stay there again.

My trip was a combination of business and leisure. The room was very clean. The staff/service was nice. I had no problems checking in/out at all. On the other hand, the room was extremely small and although I was on the second floor non-smoking area, the room reaked of cigarette smoke. no elevators so I had to lug my materials and luggage upstairs. Location left alot to be desired (right by truck stop) Overall, It was not bad. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Not recommended for woman traveling by herself.

We were just traveling through and were very happy to find a clean, comfortable room at a very good price.  The breakfast was more than expected since it had sausage egg biscuits as well as bagles and cereal.  The staff was very friendly and helpful.  The rooms are small but are exceptionally clean and user friendly.  The sheets were spotless and smooth and soft.  The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were of good quality.  All in all, the room was above average, especially for the price.

My first experience with this motel was a bit bizarre, and I would in no way hold it against Microtel. As I was walking up to the hotel two very young boys were standing in front of the motel entrance. One boy began to urinate two feet from the front door. I addressed the boys and then the mother came out. She just smiled at me. I went in and informed the front desk staff. I expected them to at least wash down the front entrance. The did nothing. In the motel room we had a framed print on the wall. The glass in the frame was cracked. I was concerned a piece might fall out. I brought that to the attention of the hotel staff upon checkout. This staff member seemed more concerned than the previous one I spoke with. Aside from these two issues the motel was a great deal. In the feedback card at the motel I suggested fresh fruit w/ the continental breakfast. I will stay at this motel again. The room were small but very confortable.

We usually stay here when we come up to lake murray, which is often during the summer. Yes the rooms are small, I am sure the suites are bigger, but they are clean and functional. I also like having my own heating and cooling unit in the room unlike some other hotels who regulate that for you. Helpful front desk who lent us a blowdrier, and a nice little breakfast in the morning. Also the housekeepers are nice and don't start knocking on your door at 9 am

We enjoyed our stay, the beds were comfortable however the pillows were too large and hard to sleep on comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of various sizes of towel's and easy to operate shower and bath. TV was large and mounted up for better viewing and very good picture. Location is close to Service station and Mc Donald's. No complaints with service and personell were friendly.
