Super 8 Zanesville

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and roomy. My only complaint was the poor placement of the lights in the room.

Our Non-Smoking room was on the third floor surrounded by smoking rooms. The smell of smoke penetrated our room. The maid service, did not change the sheets on the bed. At check in, the front desk attendant, asked if we wanted the bed sheets changed daily or left. My answer was change them daily. After cleaning, the room smelled like urine, several hours afterwards. I have stayed at this motel several times on past trips to Zanesville. I never had an experience like this with them before. I will not stay there again.

Considering that our reservation, paid in advance, was made a full month in advance, I was very disappointed that our accommodations were much less than promised. I booked a NON SMOKING room, the only requirement ! We arrived a 3:45 pm, within the check-in time, and were greeted with, " We do not have any rooms available yet " ! After 10 ( or more) minutes trying to find us a NON SMOKING room, and asking the cleaning staff member if indeed, Room *** was a NON SMOKING room, we were finally checked in, however, they would have to supply us with towels a little later, as they were still drying. Arriving at the room, it absolutely wreaked of smoke, along with the ashtray sitting on the nightstand. I asked for a different room, Sorry, no others available ! WAIT, did I not pay for, in advance, a NON SMOKING ROOM ? Long story made short, we did not get moved into a non smoking room, and, oh, by the way, never got towels either ! Our clothes and suitcases, pillows and our hair all smelled terrible by the next morning ! NEVER AGAIN, and we visit Zanesville annually. The breakfast was good, plenty of food available, and the bed was comfortable, although smelling of smoke. For me, not a good value, considering again, they had a month to figure out I wanted a NON SMOKING ROOM ! But then, it WAS already PAID FOR !

Overnight stay on a long trip.

I was in town for a funeral. During the stay I was treated more like a king. The room was always keept clean, everything was quiet, comfortable, relaxing and clean. It has been quiet a while since I have such a great expierence.

OK for a overnight stop over driving I70. Motel appeared to be used a lot by construction workers working in the area. Continental breakfast was good with make your own waffles. Room for the most part was clean - except for the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacumned. Public areas look beat but room was quiet, bed comfortable, and the TV worked. Far enough off the interstate no road noises, but fast easy off and on. Lots of fastfood chains nearby.

[...] The Hotel was completely booked and there were only smoking rooms available. [...] Due to health reasons a smoking room is not desirable. The manager agreeded to move us to non smoking rooms the next day. [...]

Very clean, friendly, nice. Location right off I-70.

family reunion

We were attending a multi school fine arts and academic competition. My daughter and I are the art teachers. We enjoyed our time at the motel very much.
