Ramada Conference Center Zanesville

Another guest & us came to call this hotel, the Steven King Motel. It was horrible. Looks nice on the outside and the inside is very nicely decorated...However, we stayed in a room off the pool area, beautiful view of the pool and hot tub....The pool area was about 50 degrees maybe less...and the room of course was the same. We turned the heat up and temp didn't go up so we turned it up to 90 and by the time we left 7am....it was only about 70 degrees. We called in advance to make sure there was a pool and hot tub.....Well there was...but they failed to inform us the pool was just painted and was empty. So, no heat...no pool...dirty hot tub....cold hotel overall...and you think it couldn't get worse?....think again....we woke up in the morning and low and behold NO HOT WATER....We had to go to our rabbit show with no showers. We went to the front desk to demand our money back....the front desk clerk was sleeping on the couch in the lobby with the remote in his hand and in his bare feet. Finally we found out the owners live in the hotel and after speaking to them we only got 1/2 our money back. I will be contacting Ramada to get the remainder back. Apparently, because some people don't need showers when they get a hotel, and the temp upon leaving was adequate...we only deserved 1/2 back. I'll never stay here again....and at the rabbit show we warned everyone away. So if you are in Zanesville, I highly recommend the Comfort Inn...But be sure to avoid the Steven King Ramada Inn and Conference center.

The continental breakfast was terrible but the WiFi worked and I didn't notice bed bugs so, for the price, I guess it was fine.

We arrived at the motel and when we saw our room the bed was unmade and the room not cleaned. The replacement room was supposed to be non-smoking but it smelled like smoke and after trying to make it work, including opening the window I was getting stopped up so we complained. They gave us our final room. It was non-smoking but was very average. For instance, the carpet leading into the bathroom area was ragged. The hallway carpets were very dirty and stained. Breakfast was OK but very modest, mostly cereal and different breads. We thought Ramada was a high quality brand of motel, which is why we felt comfortable reserving, but no longer.

We recently went to Zanesville Ohio to see a live band . We chose the Ramada basically for location but the service was excellent, the room was spotless and with that said how could you not have a good nights sleep. Thanks Tom

We had a great time with our grandchildren. The pool was great. I spent most of my time in the whirlpool. We did not find out about the sauna until we were leaving today. We will definitely plan our next family gathering at the Ramada. the price was fantastic. My only complaint was that the nonsmoking section was on the outside of building and getting to our room was very cold.

we got in late and left early so didn't get to see/do much at motel------ do usually stay at places w/ breakfast--saves time on journey----- good service at desk coming in--room clean--but no tissues would stay again if in area--thanks,ck

The motel was OK, nothing special. Orbitz charged my credit card $77.31(Orbitz Locater No. YNPJAH) per room for two rooms. When we turned in our keys upon leaving, the motel gave us a receipt for $58.62 per room. I do not understand, I feel I have been ripped off by Orbitz. I have spent $1300 with Orbitz in the last month, however, I will never use them again. Jerry Warrem

Room was dirty and falling apart. Front desk suggested Denny's as a good restaurant choice - for dinner. Since it was the only place in teh area that was not fast food, I had to drive 15 minutes to find something.

Although the motel was showing its age, the room itself was very nice and clean. However, I was not in their computer system despite having registered through Orbitz the week before. The clerk was asking me what my rate was. I offered to go back to my car to get the info off my laptop but he said never mind. Upon checkout there was some delay as, once again, I was not listed in their computer. Yet I had just spent two nights there.
