Baymont Inn & Suites Zanesville

At 10pm children were in the halls running and yelling. then at 11pm full size people began their fun and there was such racket that our beds and floors were feeling the movement. It did not improve with complaints. When I checked out the next morning they acted like "Oh well". I travel frequently and this is the worst hotel experience I have had. Maybe just a bad night, but none the less very bad.

Check in was quick, the staff was helpful, and it seemed to be a pretty well kept up facility. Alas, the hot tub in the pool area was out of order. Also, the hotel is on a steep hill, so although I would stay there again most times of the year, I might think twice about booking a room in the depth of winter.

Put do not distrube and house keeping came in with fresh towel, we were the only one's there until late wednesday. Asked if the beds were firm and they replied they were new. not the case. No microwave as it states in the hotel info. When the grandchildren came up to see us they were not welcome. not to swim in pool. As grandparents and your visiting the grandchildren you want to have a place that welcomes them and you would want to rebook for the next vist. The breakfast not sure what was up with that. Ceral was not fresh had to go for breakfast. I would not recomend this place to anyone.

It was wasy to find, nice friendly staff, close to main streets.

We chose this hotel because it is near Dresden and the Longaberger Homestead. The location was great, but I will never stay there again. We did a hotel search on Orbitz and found this hotel. We wanted a hot tub, so we called the hotel directly to confirm that they had one, the clerk told us that, indeed, there was a hot tub, so we went ahead and booked the hotel for 2 nights. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that there was not a hot tub, but there was nothing they could do about it because we "pre-paid." So, being in that situation, I decided to suck it up and have a good time anyway. Once we got in our room, we noticed that the safe didn't have a key, so we called the front desk in order to obtain a key, and we were told that an outside company deals with the safes, and there was nothing they could do about our safe not being accessible. (There is a $1.00 per day safe charge). The dresser was missing one of the handles altogether, and one of the other handles kept falling off. I am not normally one to complain about much, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Although housekeeping did an excellent job, the location was great, and the pool was nice, the hotel clerks were all rude and very dismissive of our complaints. We picked this hotel because, for the price, we were expecting something a bit nicer and were willing to pay for it, but this hotel didn't quite match up to my expectations. Hopefully they can get it together and improve their service, but I for one, will never be returning to the Baymont Inn and Suites in Zanesville, Ohio

This hotel is not as clean as it should be. The floors around the beds have not been vacuumed in ages, the linens were old, and it just didn't feel clean. I won't stay here again. AND....the staff speaks very poor, if any, English.

Overall our stay at this hotel was barely satisfactory. The mattresses were very poor and uncomfortable. Overall the hotel reminded us of an old outdated hotel on some forgotten highway. Except for some trash we found in the room and which remained there throughout our stay the place was fairly clean. Its location to most places, including the highway was good. The Cracker Barrel rest. next store (50 yards) and other eating places within a short drive helped make up for some of the unsatisfactory elements.
