Spent the night during trip to Amish areas, this motel is not for everyone, but if you want a quiet place that is a great value, then you have found it. Super 8 chain motels have a decent continental breakfast and the staff here was very cordial. This is an older motel, but it sits off US 30 in a very quiet location, which was is very nice if you are looking to get a night's rest before moving to your next destination. The parking lot needs refinished, the motel could use updating, but it was very reasonable and I booked online, so checkin and checkout was painless. Do not book this stay if you want 4 or 5 star amenities, but if you want a cheap, quiet room that is 30 minutes from most of the Amish tourist locations, you will not find one for less.

Unfortunate setting but a great hotel
Stayed two night to visit friends at the College. Close enough to campus. Yes, the facade of the hotel is not great. There's a dingy open parking lot, and the lobby seemed cramped and old. But! The hotel room itself was fantastic. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, all electrical, heating and plumbing devices worked perfectly, the wifi was fast (fast enough to stream netflix easily) and it was spacious. The area was quiet (seemed like a lot of truckers just there to sleep overnight). We even had a mini fridge, which was a surprise for the price. The breakfast included was unremarkable but filling. The staff were chatty and helpful. Overall, it was a really good deal. No, you don't get anything fancy, but everything seemed up to date, quiet and clean.

Short walk from hotel
The super 8 is only half a mile from Grosjean park. Apple creek flows through the park. There is a lovely trail next to the creek, which is, remarkably, stocked with rainbow trout. Fly fishers flock to the creek every year. It's a nice walk even if you're not a fly fisher.

This motel was comfortable and clean, the mail reason we stayed was the location and value. We stayed three days and toured the neighborhood and amish country.

get away to it all
I stay at this motel whenever I need to get away from it all...anywhere from 1 to 3 nights....love the area ...Wooster is great for shopping and good old fashioned restaurants....close to Kidron where I love to go shopping...flea markets and one of the best Amish restaurants I have ever found...you have to know where it is to find it...hotel is clean and friendly...easy to get to...in the center of a lot of peacefulness
