Holiday Inn CLEVELAND-WEST (WESTLAKE)

I chose this hotel because of it location and the fact that their website said Complimentary Airport Shuttle (must reserve in advance) under the Business travelers tab, I called the week before and they were vague about it. When I called the day before my trip I was told they did not have a driver either day. I had to rent a car to get back and forth and when I showed the manager their own website proclaiming it she told me it was a mistake and they would have to fix it. They should have offered to pay my rental car but they did not. Also their cleaning staff failed to notice a past guest left cloths in the dresser drawer.

I had a wonderful experience there. Very clean rooms, great staff. Pool was wonderful.. Great food. Staff was very helpful for me getting around town... I will go back there any time

The stay at the hotel just started out bad, we had switch rooms 3 times. 1st room had a bloody bedspread on one of the beds, so we were moved to a poolside room and told that it would be quiet. The room was right above the hot tub and even though the pool closed at 11pm, there were drunk loud people around the pool until almost 2am. The air conditioner in the room was really old and noisy, drowned out the sound of the pool, but kept you awake. Asked to be moved to another room the next morning (and we weren't the only ones who complained about the drunk people the night before), the next room was quiet, but not the cleanest room. The bedding was clean, but there was a ring of black in the toilet, cobwebs in the lights and gum stuck to the wall. At this point, we just wanted to get a descent night's sleep and the front desk had already told us the hotel was sold out that night, so we didn't ask to move rooms again. Moving people due to complaints didn't seem to be anything new for the front desk and we didn't get any kind of offers for our incovenience except "sorry about that". Definitely will not be staying there again.

Seriously need some competition in the area.Overpriced by 20%.This place is probably very profitable

The hotel has ample FREE parking. Right near highway exit with TONS of restaurant options around and movie house very close by in attractive shopping village.

Everything was good except the shower head was way to low - I'm not even 6Ft and the shower head was below my nose.

The pool and hot tub were wonderful, Breakfast buffet was nice and was included with the rewards program. Dinner was less than great however and would not recommend dinner there. The staff was great, the beds were very comfortable, and I would give this facility high marks over all.

Enjoyed pool and game room for kids. Hot tub good for sore back. Breakfast buffet staff helpful.

I travel from Phoenix to Cleveland, Ohio several times a years to visit my daughter and take my grandchildren to stay at the Holiday Inn in Westlake. I chose this location because it is near my daughter's house and it has a nice pool. I need ajoining rooms because of the grandchildren. Holiday Inn always tells me they can not guarntee these ajoining rooms. Every trip the front desk gives me problems with this.On October 1 when I arrived after 3:00 pm. The front desk staff told me there were no rooms available because of weddings that week-end. I reserved these rooms on July 22, 2010. [...] The Holiday Inn gave us one room at 3:00 pm and told me MAYBE they would have the ajoining room later. They claimed it was not cleaned yet. When we went to the room there were no cleaning carts on the entire floor. Several hours later when we went to get the 2nd room and the front desk did not know if the room was ready or not. They finally did come up with the ajoining room. I ask if I could have a microwave and a refrigerator in one of the rooms. They said no becuase I did not have a king size bed in the room. I had reserved a king sized bed in one room, but did not get it. At this time this front desk staff person told us that they may not be able to help us with these ajoining room the next time. I still do not understand why this hotel has giving us trouble for the last 3 trips. On Monday evening when we went to our room the swipe card did not work so we had to go to the front desk, something I did not want to do. They ask us if we were extending our stay. I said no! They re-programed our card and we were able to get into the room. This is such a great place for us. It really meets my needs. But as soon as we say our name problems start. One staff told us not to mess with the front desk! I guess I will have to find another hotel in the area. Why I can not book ajoining room with out problems from Hoilday Inn [...] I do not understand. We are not the only people on this earth traveling with small children. If you can offer any help with this situation I would very much appreciate it. The Holiday Inn in Westlake Ohio wrecked my vacation. Very sad story. As you should know it cost a lot of money in these difficult times to take such a trip. Companpies offering these services should WANT our business.

Old stinky hotel covered up with new carpet . Stay away it's not anything like a Holliday Inn
