Not a great value
The staff was friendly. The shower had mold.It was overpriced. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.Overall the room was clean except for the bathroom. The bathroom floor was dirty. There were plenty of towels. The room had 3 comfortable chairs.Would never stay there again unless the price was 50% to 75% less expensive. My credit card was overcharged $25 which was corrected upon checkout.Every time we went in and out of the parking garage we had to get a new ticket validated. The parking was expensive.$14 for valet and $11 to self park.Across the street the parking was $2.I would not recommend to anyone.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Bronze Boar has a wide range of beer and ale.It has the feel of a neighborhood bar with live entertainment. The manager/bartender made us feel at home, she was delightful.

Nice Hotel and Great Value
Hotel restaurant and bar hours where inconvenient. We got in late on Friday, it was cold outside, and wanted to get a drink and dinner in the lounge but it was closed for a private party. We thought we could at least get a drink in the bar but where asked to leave. That left us to ordering pizza in the room. That was a disappointment. We were in town for a wedding. The reception was next door at the Event Center. Super! The Hotel provided Transportation, even though it was a block away.

Basic
Expensive parking - $13/day extra. Hotel is old, slightly shabby. Ditto for the room but the bedding appeared and smelled clean. Dirty washcloth hanging on shower rod. Mismatched shampoo and conditioner made me think they were scrounging from other hotels? I would have picked a higher-rated hotel but this was the best available in Toledo. I had a great view of the ballpark, although there wasn't a game. Staff was also VERY friendly.

No problems
Fine for the price. The room had not been used for a while...the water came out a little brown at first, but it was fine eventually. Probably just old pipes..this hotel looks like it has been around the block. Food was decent and surprisingly inexpensive.

No pool, but great hotel other than that
The Park Inn was great for the getaway I surprised my husband with. We enjoyed a Mudhen's game, which was literally around the corner. And hit a few other local spots. Everything we did was withing walking distance. We had a great view of the water and would definately stay there again!
