Nice, but needs some work
Good overall, breakfast buffet left a bit to be desired Staff friendly and helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. GREAT view from room, a real plus with AM sunrise. Enjoyable walking around hotel in downtown location. Was told parking was free, but valet was $16 and across street in city garage was $8. Given my arrival at 11:3 PM I opted for valet.

Concert Headache
The hotel was nice, but when they have too many things going on at once it can be a big headache. They had a prom, convention of some sort, and a major concert. The pass keys didn't work the first time we used them. We accidently gave a major tip by accident (and we were going to tip them) and they gave us the hardest time to try and fix the issue.

Great Spot, But only Valet Option
The hotel is in a great location for event in downtown Toledo. Very convenient for that. However, there is no where to pull up just to unload your car without having your car valet parked. We didn't want to use this option, but really had no other choice.

Restaurant closed
Downtown Toledo is going through hard times. There appears to be insufficient traffic to keep a major hotel going as it should. The Grand, until recently a Crowne Plaza, is an example. Basically a nice hotel, it has few clients and the restaurant was closed.

Nice - looked like it was remodeled!
We were visiting friends to go to a Mudhens game. It was a nice room that looked to be remodeled. We were near the ice maker but I guess someone has to be - right!? ;-) Other than that it seemed perfectly fine. Make sure you have washclothes. It appears the US is going the way of the Europeans and they are now delivering washclothes upon your arrival. other than that we were perfectly content!

Good to Average for the cost !
Hotel was fairly nice , had some issues with the sink in the bathroom . Only parking available is Valet ... You will be charged $16 per vehicle. Hotel had a pool but it is MUCH smaller than it appears in the picture on the website.

very nice
very nice hotel! room was clean, work out room and pool were nice as well! we attended a concert at the Huntington Center and it was easily within walking distance!
