Sleep Inn Sandusky

This was a fantastic hotel to stay at. I have been to many hotels in the area and this was by far one of the better ones that I have stayed at. The room that we stayed in was well worth the money. I would recommend this to people who wanted a great place to stay for a great price!

Good distance from cedar point. Available stores and places to eat. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Like how there was a microwave and fridge available in the room. Bathroom a little small but clean is all that mattered.

Over night stay for Ohio Bike Week. Room was clean. Toilet was loose but did not leak. Shower head was stuck on one setting. T.V. did not work, static on all channels. We were not in the room much, just to sleep. So these few things did not bother us to much.

We planned an overnight stop for Cedar Point Park on our way to NY for a wedding. The hotel was very conveniently located off of the highway. It's a much older hotel and rather outdated, however the staff was extremely accomadating and they have a nice pool and hot-tub. Room was pretty small, but for a quick overnight stay we thought it was a very reasonable value.

This stay was awwwful. We've stayed at the Sleep Inn (Sandusky,Ohio) in the pass and it was fine, BUT NEVER AGAIN!! We were in town for a banquet, and only stayed 1 night. We had planned to rest overnight, in order to get on the road early the next morning going home. Well that didn't work out (the sleeping part of it), children were in the hallway playing, screaming and laughing until 2am. We called the front desk at about 11pm, but it didn't seem like Anything was done about it because it continued until 2am. Upon checking out the next morning we made a complaint to front desk, all the clerk said was "Oh, thank you". ?? :-( WOW! I'M still SMH! We will NEVER AGAIN stay at the Sleep Inn in Sandusky, Ohio!

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. I have no complaints. Based on reviews on moderately priced hotels in Sandusky, OH that may be saying a lot. I just needed a quiet, clean place to sleep. I did not need the waterparks or the evening activities found at some of the more expensive hotels. I did not hit the town or eat out when I was there. Dinning options - it looked as if there were plenty of restaurants near by.

While I stayed at the Sleep Inn Sandusky, I was able to fully relax and prepare for my busy day the following Sunday. Although I experienced some trouble with my lights and lock, one of the gentlemen working was quick to come up to my room and fix my lights and door. I could not have asked for any better service or location. I didn't realize until arrival that I was surrounded by so many ammenities. I will definitlu be booking with orbitz for the Sleep Inn Sandusky real real soon! Thanks for the relaxing weekend!!

Location was good. Hotel not as clean as I would have liked. Would not use again.

We were in Sandusky over Bike week and expected some partying in our hotel, but that was not the case. It was quiet. I was a little disappointed in the cable tv selections, but we were out of the room most of the time anyway. Cedar Point was a lot of fun. We bought the Starlight after 5 tickets and had a great time. The antique and junk shops downtown and the African Safari drive through zoo were also enjoyable. I will definitely visit again.

Hotel was great. Orbitz was a disaster. Found out the difference between what the hotel charged and what Orbitz charged me and it was ove a $150 diff!!!!! I called Orbitz and the told me to stick it! They would do nothing for me! Needless to say I am upset and will NEVER use Orbitz again, neither will my bike club of the Dept that I work with. DOWN WITH ORBITZ!!!
