Comfort Inn Sandusky

For the money and the location the price was right. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Pools gave the kids a vacation feel. Continental breakfast was simple but satisfying. Kids enjoyed it. Best location on the strip. Close to everything in town and just a short drive to Cedar Point. Wireless Internet access in room came in handy. Excellent overall value for the money.

Perfect Cedar Point hotel. Lots of action at night for teenagers and college students.

THIS HOTEL WAS VERY NICE. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POOL.

considering that it rained and our plans had to change the location of the hotel to the stores and entertainment(water parks), the indoor pool, the kids didnt seem to mind the rain. The hotel staff (housekeeping)were very friendly and accomadating-towels, pillows, coffee etc. we would stay there again.

The Comfort Inn was comfortable for the price. This is a great place to stay with kids. The hotal staff was friendly and accomdating. They could improve on the quality of the breakfast or remove the word DELUXE from the add. The bath towels are also not the best, but they are clean and work.

The Comfort Inn at Sandusky was very easy to find and the free shuttle bus to Cedar Point was wonderful. Our room was nice and very clean; the pools also were really nice and well maintained. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the dining room was not open for business while we were there........only available for the continental breakfast. Having the Dining room open would have been of great convenience. Overall I would recommend this facility and will return for another visit. MANY shopping areas and restaurants very close by the Comfort Inn.

The Comfort Inn Sandusky was reasonable enough considering we were at the park mostly all day. The first floor room we had was okay, noisy because it was right by the vending machines, main in and out door, and general noise from other hotel guests. The room itself was fine, the bed harder and more uncomfortable then most hotel rooms, but the bathrooms were decent size and clean. Don't plan on using the free Wi-Fi because I barely got one bar of signal and I was right down from the lobby. The breakfast had more variety then most but it was VERY busy. The shuttle was okay, but it drops off and picks up at about 6 other are hotels. Overall fine for a short stay.

The Comfort Inn Sandusky was on a scale of 1-10 about a 6. The room had an odor upon entering. The sink area was very clean and nice. The bathroom was not too bad; however, the bottom of the shower curtain had an odor (not associated with entry into the room). The towels were very stiff and the beds were very firm. I learned, upon checking out, that the hotel is supposed to be receiving all new beds and towels by December 31, 2007. Nevetheless, the beds and linens felt clean. I liked that the sink area was separate from the toilet and tub. Also, with restaurants nearby it was good to grab a bite to eat before entering Cedar Point. Although understaffed, the hotel employees were very friendly.

The room was a little small for 4 ppl and the bathroom was not extremely clean but liveable for a night

I had a good experience staying at the hotel. The amenities (swimming pool), cleanliness was good. It was close to the park and also only a few miles from kelley island/putin bay (ferry) exits. My only dissatisfaction was that when I arrived at 2:30pm at the hotel desk, I was told it will be ONE hour before my room (King Bed) is ready even though checkin time for room is 3:00pm. There was no regrets expressed for the inconvenience.
