Close to Cedar Point
Not very far at all from Cedar Point, older hotel though the room was clean, and staff was good.

A Solid C+
My wife and I stayed at three large chain hotels during a short visit to Virginia. This hotel was borderline okay but is simply worn out..............most likely from abuse from families going to Cedar Point. It needs serious updating, new paint, wall paper, furniture, etc. It was clean but we won't stay there again.

Always a good stay....................
No problems or issues here. I've stayed here a number of times and always and satisified. Wish breakfast was better but it's in line with what others offer. And pricing not out of line.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and accomidating. We were even able to take our dog and he enjoyed his stay too.

Nice Place to Stay
We took a weekend trip to the dragraces at Summit Raceway Park. The hotel was close to the track and made for an easy commute. The staff at the hotel was very courteous and provided great service. The hotel room we stayed in was very clean and was a nice place to stay.

HORRIBLE BEWARE
THIS HOTEL STUNK. THE POOL DID NOT WORK. LOOKED LIKE A THICK DIRTY SWAMP. WENT THERE WITH A GROUP OF GIRLS FOR A PARTY FOR TWEENS AND BOY WERE THEY DISAPPOINTED AFTER DRIVING AN HOUR TO GET THERE FOR THEIR VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT. SAID THE HOT TUB WORKED, BUT IT WAS SO NASTY AND THE JETS DID NOT WORK. THE SMELL IN THE HOTEL WAS AWFUL. THEY HAD HORRIBLE CARPET POWDER ALL OVER THE HALLWAYS. ASKED FOR NON-SMOKING, COULD STILL SMELL SMOKE ALL THOUGHOUT THE HOTEL. POP MACHINES WERE BROKEN. AND THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS SICKENING. THE WATER AND COFFEE WERE AT BEST LUKEWARM. THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED. IT WAS WORSE THAN THE BATES HOTEL.

Wonderful Place
We stayed in a room w/whirlpool. The size of the whirlpool shocked me, it was huge!! The only downside to the room as the size of the bathroom, very little room.

Comfortable
Was racing at Summit Motorsports Park. Stayed 5 days. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Though temps varied from 40s to 60s outside didn't need to use the heat/ac. Beds could use an upgrade. Eventually got soap/shampoo replaced even though they were gone by 3rd day of day. Would stay again.
