ALL AMERICAN INN AND SUITES NORWALK

I always stay here for the Shootout. I've been the last three years running and have not had any bad experiences at this hotel. I can imagine myself staying here for the next few years.

Stayed during the Norwalk Pontiac Nationals. The staff was ok,the room wasn't the cleanest, and the keycard seemed to have an issue with opening up the outside door.

Our main purpose for staying at AAI&S was to visit Cedar Point Amusement Park. The hotel was okay, it didn't have super clean feel to it but it was not visibly dirty either. From the looks of the surrounding hotels in the area AAI&S was one of the better ones. Norwalk, OH is farm land do not get worried when you only see crops for a few miles and are driving down a country road! ;)

This hotel was decent at best the staff was not overly friendly when I walked in to check in I was not greeted or acknowledge until I said hi how are you. The rooms where decent but needing an update. I was just here for an over night stay before heading to an event so it worked out well enough. I wouldn't suggest it if your looking for a more upscale hotel.

Hotel was okay but the hot tub was broken, our toilet handle broke and they acted like they could care less that we couldn't flush the toilet. The pool is cold and full of black mold. Will definitely not stay there again but I guess u get what u pay for.

Staff was excellent. We race at Norwalk, and stayed here before. We like it...

Front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and always stocked with towels. Continental breakfast was superb! Nice setup in lobby with internet access and TV in one area. Would recommend to friends and family.

The staff person on duty that night was very friendly and helpful. We just stayed for the one night. Room was okay but the beds were not very comfortable and there was mold on the wallpaper in the bathroom. It was clean and quiet though. Cost not to bad so I would probably recommend it to a friend.

Not the greatest experience, but, an OK place with a comfy bed. I booked this on orbitz on Friday for a Saturday/Sunday stay. Then called to confirm, when I was told that there were no King rooms with hot tub. I was then told I could have a King standard for the first night and then switch to my intended room for the second night. I was also told that I had to change the booking through orbitz because my price would not be the same otherwise. Then, when I called orbitz I found out that they would not refund my money for the difference, only give me a credit toward my next trip. Then, I was told I could not choose another hotel because the hotel would only refund my money for the night that they were overbooked. Of course, this made me a little upset, since this was our 27th anniversary, and since I really did not feel like switching rooms for a 2 night stay. The big issue here is overbooking and then switching to a lesser room. Then, the fact that Orbitz would not insist that our money be refunded, or assist us in acquiring an alternate hotel with the money we had already paid. When we arrived we were greeted nicely and our room was waiting on time. There were a few cobwebs in the corner and some M&M's under the desk, but the rest of the room seemed clean. We opened our curtain to find that our view was of a lumber yard. There was no landscaping outside the window, and anyone walking through the parking lot had a view into your room. So don't expect sunshine while you stay unless you don't mind everyone seeing in your room. I tried to use the recliner and it got stuck with the footrest up. I had to climb out of the chair, and my husband had to beat on the leg rest until it shut. Now, since they overbooked I had assumed that we would keep our first room until the second room was available, but, we were told that was not possible.So by 10:30AM We loaded our belongings back into our car. (missed the breakfast since we had not planned on checking out) Now, we are out of the first room and we asked what time our room would be available they told us 3PM. I told them that we were not going to travel around with our belongings in our car all day, and insisted that they clean our room as soon as possible. They agreed that as soon as it was empty (check out was 11) they would do it first. We checked back in an hour and they told us it was not ready yet. We checked back in 30 minutes and they told us they were working on it. Finally at 1PM we were able to begin our day, when they gave us the key to our second room. This room had a tub with jets, when we started it, it seemed Ok, but then it foamed up and little black specks were on the foam. That was gross. We also experienced a broken tv remote, with no back on it, only tape. When we asked for help with this, they told us all of the backs were missing and they would try to find one that worked. They fixed that problem within an hour. They had cable, but only basic, and you had to wait on the list of shows to scroll accross the screen. By the way the view from the second room was a storage facility and shopping center. I never swam since the pool looked a little murky. The breakfast was OK (the second day we made it before 9:30).The cost for the room, had everything been unbroken or correct, would have been a great value, but, since we had so many issues, we just figure we will chalk this one up to experience.
