super nice hotel
this marriott was awesome. the room was super nice, it was in a convenient area, the staff was amazing (even the maids spoke perfect english!!!), they had paul mitchell products (shampoo and conditioner), and even had a little snack bar, one that was 24 hours, and another that was open til 10 with alcohol. it was perfect. it was super quiet, and had all the comforts of home. i would definitely stay here again :) the only thing i would say to improve, is having a microwave in the room. they had a refrigerator, and they did have a microwave downstairs in the lobby for use, but it would have been nice to have it in my room. other than that, it was perfect :)

Good Value for Money
Have been staying at Holiday Inn Express but they keep raising their price. This was just as nice, except for breakfast.

really ugly
2;55pm - clerk very short with us,in a hurry, gruff. told us no rooms on first floor which we requested (health issue), only one room on secopnd floor ( 5 min. prior to checkin time) Had to take it. After a three week reservation time we were given a small room next to the noisy elevator w/ a window view of the top of the entrance way. Found out later ( observation) that this clerk was leaving duty at 3 o'clock. She should have asked us to wait on the next clerk who was very nice to give us decent accomodations. The first clerks poor manners and rush to leave work has cost you not only our business but many other of our business partners and friends.

Boy Scout Mom
One nighter
Only stayed one night (as planned). Arrived late and didn't use the pool. Breakfast costs extra, and it 's all you can eat. Too much for me...so we just went to the MacDonld's next door for a quick bite to eat. Our room was very nice and the beds were great. The entrance/exit to the parking lot is tricky. Kinda pricy but nice.

Fabulous location
Location was great. Easy to find. McDonald's and Texas Roadhouse next to parking lot. Wonderful morning breakfast at hotel.

Clean, good bed
The Courtyard by Marriot in Newark is clean, with friendly staff and the bed was just what a traveler wants, the ability to get a good nights sleeep. Located right off the highway, it is very accessable (though roadwork made the consitions at the time a bit inconvenient) with eating establishments next door and across the street. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
