Make a splash at this Columbus area resort and indoor water park
The Cherry Valley Lodge and CoCo Key Water Resort, in Newark, Ohio, is a destination itself. The complex, near Columbus, features a 200-room lodge, a 50,000-square-foot water park, and a full-service spa. Nature-lovers can explore the 2,000-plus plantings in the arboretum on this 18-acre property. Guests can bring pets along for the stay.

- Rooms include two queen size beds placed in the room in its unique L shaped design. Guest room has a 32 inch flat panel TV with on demand movies avaliable. The center of Granville (next town over), although small, is very charming, with good restaurants.

Fantastic for the Longaberger Craft Show
The complimentary breakfast could have been better. This was our second time visiting. We were a little disappointed. We were visiting for the craft show back in December 2010. Then we did the Longaberger tour at the Longaberger office. We also explored Dresden for more shopping.

Staff was pleasant through out visit. When booking my room I asked for a handicap accessible room. The room was on the far side of the hotel. The handicap parking was far from the doors as was my room that was at the end of a hall. The only part of my room that was handicap was the commode with rails. Was unable to use the shower as there was no place to sit. As in previous visits the room again smelled of smoke but was clean the furniture worn. During the tornado warning, we were taken to a lower level fortunately I was able to use crutches as it was not handicap accessible

Usually wonderful -- but not this time
Cherry Valley Lodge is usually wonderful - but not this time. Got there late at night after long drive and they didn't have type of room we had reserved (we reserved two queens; they only had king plus pull out couch). Then, room smelled musty, especially bathroom - shower curtan in particular smelled moldy. I'd still recommend it, but not as enthusiastically as in past.

Cherry Valley Lodge, Newark Ohio
Hotel was a recommendation from a family member who lives in the area...it was a wonderful surprise, a quiet location, very large rooms (bathroom extremely large and CLEAN). Would definitely go back again and/or recommend to friends and family.

Grandpa and Grandma

We planned this trip for our grandson's ninth birthday, to visit coco keys and stay all night at the hotel, he and his brother have not stopped talking about it. We had a wonderful time. My grandson said he will never forget our birthday gift to him. They had so much fun. My husband and I so enjoyed our stay with the kids. The staff was wonderful, I needed a lot of coffee with having the grand-kids, the staff was gracious about supplying plenty of coffee to us. Would highly recommend [...] we just had to show up and enjoy ourselves. We arrived early due kids wanted to, hotel accommodated us and let us check in early. Thanks so much cherry valley lodge [...]

Thanksgiving Traveler
Good Experience
Hotel was good. Fitness Center needs updating and need to fix broken machines. Security needs to be tighter with Water Park, found a young girl roaming the halls and asking me to help her get in her room, her grandmother let you wonder back to her room with no key and luckily, I walked her back to the water park and left her with a supervisor, since anyone can walk right into the lobby and then halls of hotel, this is risky. Food is good, but expensive for breakfast. With Bob Evans around the corner, should take time to comp shop prices.
