Crowne Plaza CLEVELAND AIRPORT

Stayed for one night. Staff was great, room was great, and so was breakfast in the morning ~ buffet style!

This hotel tries to add nice touches to improve the experience--sample size spa products, remote covers--but the basics like the blowing air at face level (while on the bed) and the poor lighting in the bathroom just don't make up for it. Hotel food pretty good and service there excellent!

I had a short stay, but it was great. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. The pool area was nice, but the pool itself was a small, shallow thing mostly meant for kids to play around in. The exercise room was also small, with just a couple of treadmills and a single weight machine. The location was great, with quick access to 71, 80, and the bike trail. For what I needed, it was perfect.

Beds are comfortable. Wish there were movie channels; that's my only recommendation.

I had a very personal task to attend to while in the area. I was assisting in the closing of the house of a deceased loved one. The privacy and near annonymity of my experience in the hotel suited me well. One complaint which applies to 90% of the hotels in which I have stayed is the following. Most fitness rooms cater to the weight lifting types and neglect to provide a clean empty space for the multitudes who now practice yoga and/or Pilates, or Gyrokinesis, etc. This was also the case at the Crowne Plaza.

I reserved a room for vday weekend. I was very careful to choose a hotel that had DVD players in the room as this would add to my vday surprise for my lover. Needless to say I was VERY disappointed when I arrived and there was no DVD player available like it is listed in the features of the hotel online. I called the front desk and asked for another fitted sheet and after taking 3 hours they brought me a stack of towels! Other than that its a convient location near plenty of food spots and an exit away from the mall. The pool & sauna was also nice!

Was here for a conference and late check-in seemed pleasant enough, however, I was given a handicapped access room (with no closet, only a shower curtain and seemingly narrow halls for wheelchair access). Note that I am not handicapped nor was I in a wheelchair. I was not given an option of rooms at check-in and I doubt that this was the last room available when I arrived... Although most of my time was spent at the conference, I did partake of the bar downstairs which was quite roomy and packed with other conference attendees along with the usual smattering of airline personnel and miscellaneous guests and actually had a good time watching their two tv's tuned into sports and enjoying the conversation and scenery. However, I did eventually have to return to my room where I found that the maid service had not fully cleaned the bathroom, even though I left towels on the floor as indicated if fresh towels were desired. Also, the handicapped shower curtain did a terrible job of keeping water within the shower stall and the shower head could only be used by holding it in one hand to direct the water stream - the connector did not secure the shower head in a stationary position for those wanting to take a normal shower. My final recommendation - do not accept the handicapped access hotel room if at all possible!

Everybody was friendly and helpful. We went for a wedding and ended up having our grandkids stay with us and the workers took special care of them. It was great.

Booked the hotel on a cross country trip from NYC, wanted to stay with a pool so my 3 and 5 year old could have some fun after a LONG car trip. The pool pump was broken and the water was so cold that swimming was out of the picture. Two really dissappointed girls in swimsuits makes for a very unhappy stay. The staff said they would adjust out room rate and never did- which lead to a very unhappy check-out the next day...

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were so comfortable and we slept so well! My 86 year old mother was with us and she slept all night-which is unusual for her in a strange place. Right off Bagley Road and interstate 71 making it easy to access and travel to areas around Cleveland. We will definitely be staying there again when we're in the area.
