Meh

Room was fairly clean with a few stains on the carpet and it still smelled of smoke despite being a non smoking room. They even had an ashtray in the room but with a no smoking logo on the bottom. The bed seemed overdue for a replacement, it had a ridge running down the middle and squeaked at any movement. It was nice to have the option of cooking in the room with pots, pans, utensils, fridge, microwave and sink but there were many restaurants close by as was all sorts of shopping.

inexpensive comfortable family-oriented hotel

The lobby & room were better than expected for the price we paid. The room had refrigerator, microwave, sink, stove top, dishes, pots, pans & silverware, Also had coffee pot & coffee.TV with cable & AC window unit. Staff was curteous & repectful. It has an out-door pool that's open during summer months-closes on Labor Day week end. ***ONLY COMPLAINT***The hall-ways & stair case had chipping paint & carpet badly worn. Garbage sat in hallway & we were able to smell the stench as soon as we opened our door.Hotel is located very close to gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores & mall.

Totally unavailable

we called and informed the front desk that we would be arriving at 3 am and they never informed us that we would need a code to get into a box to get our room key. So we sat there at 3 am trying to get into our room and they had a courtesy phone telling us to dail an extentsion and someone would help. The number rang once and then went to voicemail. I left multiple requests for help and even left my cell phone number. No one ever called back. We ended up searching for another hotel at 4 am and staying there. The price lured us in, but the actual hotel is not worth it if this is how they treat their guests. I never received a phone call back from anyone.

studio 6

check in took a while. didn't have the room i reserved, but gave me a bigger one at same price. it's an older building, but that's ok. the hallways stunk of animal feces. i noticed a lot of strays in the parking lot. really, the only complaint is about the strong smell of cat urine in the hallway where the stairs are. other than that... it was nice and quite. everything worked, we had a nice fully furnished kitchenette in the room. the cable tv kinda sucks but for what we needed the room for, it was great!

Beautiful Weekend

While in Ohio to attend the wedding of our friend's daughter, we enjoyed a great weekend while staying at Studio 6. The rooms were spacious and clean. We especially liked the fact that someone from the staff called a little while after we checked in to see if we were happy with our room. For the value and location I would say this was an excellent place to stay.

Be very careful watching for the driveway into their parking lot. It was hidden between 2 businesses and you really had to watch closely for it.

Good location and price

My experience was okay. When I arrived, they computer was down due to an audit. Otherwise, staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was nice and clean. I was in the area for a family reunion and I arrived a day early and needed somewhere to stay for a short period. If you're unable to do stairs, this is not the place. Two flights of stairs with heavy luggage was tough.

I loved this hotel!

Super deal - low price rooms but not low price service. Friendly staff and spacious room with wonderful kitchenette. No bath products, but I always bring my own anyway. I will definitely stay here again.

Great for the price

We were attending a wedding in Dayton and needed a place I could afford, as a single unemployed mother. I was very skeptical and nervous right up until we got into the room. It was not spectacular, but it was quaint and we loved the kitchenette!!! My daughter enjoyed the pool everyday we were there (as well as the bathtub). The staff was very friendly but I did not get the 2 extra pillows I requested (there were only 2 on the bed), my daughter and I both sleep with 2 pillows so we just decided when we go back (as we plan to) we will take our own pillows. Location is excellent - we left a bag at home so we were missing the clothes my daughter was going to wear to the wedding - there were sooo many choices - tons of shopping. If you don't want to make use of the kitchenette there is like every known restaraunt within a 15 minute drive. We were very happy and are already planning a reason to go back to that area.

Eat in and save your money! I was expecting a microwave and refridgerator - there was a freezer and 2 burner cook surface as well - with dishes provided.

smells

Came here for business during the Dayton Air Show. Across the street there is a great mall with all of the middle-high end chain restaurants like PF Changs, Bonefish Grill, Bravo, and so on. Really liked the location due to that aspect. Otherwise noise travelled easily, my toilet was broken and the hallways smelled like smoke even though they were all non-smoking rooms. My room smelled of urine which might have been due to the toilet being broken. The TV was 18" tops. But it really shows you get what you pay for. Definitely bring your own pillows.
