Motel 6 Cincinnati Mason

When I spent one night in Motel 6(this hotel), one entrance light is not working, bath room is not modernized and the most worst thing is BUGs Bite(attack) from bed and blanket, I got many red dots on skin and Itching, my partner got that too...

The hotel was ran down and gross. We had to move rooms the time in three days. There were bugs crawling on the walls and fixtures hanging from the walls. The sheets were dirty in two rooms. Just overall a very poor experience. I do.t think I will be using orbits again to book a hotel.

Was a little disappointed that the room was a little sparse. Was very sterile feeling - no pictures on the wall. Bed was very low to the ground, though somewhat comfortable and the pillows were flatter than pancakes - literally! No alarm clock or radio, no ironing board or iron, no hairdryer - glad I did not need any of these things on this trip like I normally do. There also was no coffee maker!!! Was clean but am not sure how this room could have been labeled as "remodeled". Am not sure if there really was a restuarant on the premises but the room service menu said there was, but I didn't see it. Room was affordable, hotel was quiet. Not sure if I would visit again but may think about it if I were in the area visiting again.

Completely disappointed and grossed out! Booked a nonsmoking room in advance to save time while on a business trip. When arrived at motel after working all day the room given to me had a used condom and an adult DVD inside the made bed!! Assuming that the housekeeping did not change the sheets and only pulled to covers up after the last guest. Then was moved to another room only to find it was a smoking room when I requested nonsmoking, finally moved to a third room and there were no batteries in the TV remote.

The hotel was conveniently located near the amusement park. We checked in around 4pm. Other reviews mentioned staff not having the rooms ready for guests so we gave a little extra time from the 2pm check-in time. The front desk clerk was very friendly and worked at a quick pace. When it came to the room, it fit the reviews we had read of the hotel. It was a bare essential hotel. There were two queen size beds that because of local and current hotel conditions, were searched thoroughly for "bedbugs". Luckily the beds were clean as a whistle! The bathroom was a different story. It was incredibly moldy! Two of the four people in our group opted not to shower because of the conditions! Nonetheless, the bathroom was functional. The description of the hotel says there is a restaurant on site. The restaurant was closed. Actually, it looked like it had been closed for business permanently and stripped of all appliances. Also, the renovations that were described remain to be seen. This hotel was priced correct for the purpose it served, a simple, no frills place to rest after a long day of roller coasters.

Walked in to the front desk and the girl was very nice. Once getting checked in we drove around to our entrance. There are 4 different outside entrances not counting the front. Our entrance, D, has an electronic door lock just like the rooms. The problem is that the lock doesn't work at all. Anyone can open the door and walk right in. Then we get to our room and the smell is awful. Carpet is nasty and dirty. After being on the road my GF decided to take a shower. She didn't realize that the towels were super thin and completely worn out. They were hard, dry, and very very rough. Then it was my turn and I picked up and towel and I then see roaches scatter and even manage to kill one of them. They were on the bathroom counter. Needless to say i didn't take a shower in the place. I'm a dude and I've showered in a whole bunch of places that were bad and nasty. This place would have been the worst. After turning down the bed you could see black curly hairs on the sheets. Also, It was cold that night so we turned on the heater and it smelled awful as well. About 15 seconds after being on it set off the smoke detector. I tried to call the front desk but no body would answer the phone. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in my life. Usually i read these reviews and they are usually just a bunch of cry babies. I can honestly tell you for a fact this place is awful. It should probably be torn down. You don't have to take my word for it but I promise you'll be sorry if you don't. You honestly couldn't pay me to stay here again. If you do stay here, remember my words and feel free to say to yourself, "he told me so" because you will regret it. You would be better off sleeping in your car then sleeping here.

We checked in at 3pm and went to our room. The maid stopped us and said the room wasn't ready. The front desk assigned a room that had yet to be cleaned. That was a real turn off. We left our stuff (non-valuables of course) and came back later. When we returned later that night, the room was clean and hotel was quiet. We were able to get a peaceful night's rest. We had reservations for 3 people and only had towels for two. The sink leaked so much that we had to put the trash can underneath it to catch the water. When we left, there was at least 3 inches of water in the trash can from the leak. Non-smoking room had been smoked in. The hotel room was worn out and we won't stay there again.

Booked this hotel for the half-way point of our journey. Just slept there about 6 hours, showered, and back on the road. It's a Motel 6, pretty much as expected, except that the room Smelled. Kind of a really bad B.O. smell. Add the heating unit that worked like a typical hotel heating unit, and it got pretty oppressive in there. I did reserve the first handicap-accessible room, nearest the exit, and found it to be very large, with a comfortable bed, shower with tub. Staff was polite. There was an intriguing-looking Indian restaurant on site (unusual for a Motel 6, I think), but I was there outside of business hours. Overall, I felt I got what I paid for, but only just.

Room was extremely cold. We left heater run while we were gone on high ( were gone about 6 hours after we checked in) and room was still chilly when we got back.

My family was spending a day at Kings Island, which was right up the road so the location was great. Normally we pack the car with a cooler, but on this trip we were able to go back to the hotel and enjoy lunch in our air conditioned room. That was great. One thing I didn't like was there were not cups in our room for ice or water, nor was there a coffee maker, we had to go up to check in to get them. They need to work a little harder on handicap accessible room locations, I needed something close to the outside door and what I got was about 12 doors/rooms away from that door. Other than those two things, the motel was nice as well as the staff we incountered.
