South Cleveland budget hotel in Independence with free breakfast, Wi-Fi
Guests of the La Quinta Inn Cleveland/Independence hotel enjoy comfort and convenience. Some are in the area on business, some for pleasure, but all hop on Interstate 77 to drive six miles north into downtown Cleveland. Stop by the lobby for a free deluxe continental breakfast first thing in the morning. Sports fans take their pick from events throughout metro Cleveland, while families visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center or Cleveland Zoo. My son and I stayed in this La Quinta during a 2-day college visit. Our reservation was in perfect order upon arrival, and it took two minutes to check in. The manager also gave us the menus for several restaurants in the area, and there are many restaurants in the area. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. If we visit the Cleveland area again, I would definitely consider staying here again.

Hotel met all my needs except that there was not a heavy curtain to block out the security light from the parking lot. I need/like complete darkness. I found the hotel staff very cordial. The room was very clean. The location was perfect. Close to main thoroughfares and restaurants.

Completely adequate
Noting to complain about. The room was clean. AC worked well, close to the highway and reasonably priced. Next door to a restaurant with a huge variety of craft beers. Completely adequate for one night on business travel.

The room was fairly decent in size, but it wasn't as clean as I would of hoped. The toilet was partially filthy along with the bathtub and the garbage cans lacked trash bags.

Good quality for money spent
The location was easy to find via interstate. Good business neighborhood; Close to restaurants and shopping. The room was clean w/no lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Our travel was for business and rest. This hotel fit the ticket. Breakfast was mediocre, just normal. TV was not really available. The 1st night had the desk person trying to fix it. The next morning we were told that the maintenance staff was waiting for us to leave to come in to again try to fix it. The next evening the set was available only part of the very late night. It turned itself off without command and then came back on several minutes later, with poor reception. We notified the front desk of the TV drama and were assured that new equipment would be installed next week. Of course, our business ended before next week. [...]

Pitt stop in Cleveland
Efficient checkin, mediocre breakfast. Soggy bagels, but good waffles and boiled eggs options. Clean room.

La Quinta - Cleveland
I was in Cleveland for work. The hotel was ok for the money spent. Just had a weird smell in the lobby that carried upstairs. Strange thing is I have been to other La Quinta hotels and they all seem to have this smell.

Short drive from hotel
Going to see a Cleveland Indians game was awesome. Nice stadium and right next to Quicken Loans arena for the Cavs if you are more in to basketball.

Good for a short stay
Good hotel for a short stay, price was right. clean, convenient, close by restaurants, continental breakfast was ok. I think an older hotel, but kept up fairly well. bathroom was very small, but for a short stay it's fine. bed & pillows were comfy.
