Hotel was nice. The large screen TV was a plus. Poor signage made it difficult to find the hotel at night. Hallway noise ... was above average. I was suprised to find that heating and cooling in this higher end property was with a thru-wall unit that was noisy (started and stopped all night) and hard to adjust to the proper temperature.

Nice for a short visit
Sam Oct 18, 2009
For an overnight stay, or even 2-3 nights I imagine this hotel would be ideal. There is comfy bedding, a very large plasma ... TV, sitting area and fridge. Unfortunately though, after more then 2-3 nights the area begins to feel a bit cramped. The bathroom is rather small, and right on top of the bed, so if you're one of those people who wakes up at 3a.m. to use the restroom, everyone in your room wakes up with you. The staff is overall friendly. They didn't go out of their way to help, but they answered any questions I had even if they couldn't help out. The pool is tiny, and there is no hot tub which I thought was rather odd. Adding one would be a good idea. One last thing, which is more insignificant, is the TV package the hotel has. It offers several sports and news stations, but beyond that there isn't much to choose from. It was very often hard to find things to watch, and since we were confined to the room a lot due to bad weather, it was more noticable. Overall a nice place. I would probably return, though not if I was staying for any more than a few nights.

Quick check-in and check-out. The room was comfortable after a very long day. Coffee and tea are always available. Great ... breakfast. What might be a negative is that you have to drive to a restaurant or shopping area rather than walk.

Weekend Getaway to the City
Toasty Aug 17, 2009
When you walk into the Hyatt Place, the first thing you notice is the refreshing aroma that embodies the entire hotel. It is ... so wonderful and soothing, it really sets the tone for the rest of your stay at the Hyatt Place. This is our third time staying at one of these hotels and each stay gets better and better. The rooms are set up just right with separated living and sleeping quarters. The bedding is FANTASTIC. It is like sleeping on clouds. There is fantastic 42" flat screen tv in each room that makes a quiet evening in your room with your honey that much more enjoyable. The continental breakfast hits the spot, with an array of fresh fruit, cereal, bagels, and made-to-order breakfast (this is not free). I could not be happier with my stay at the Hyatt Place. The staff is always willing to help you with any special requests to ensure your stay is all the more stress-free. I love it. The hotel is located about 10 minutes outside of Cleveland, which made it ideal for us to drive into the city for the day to explore and then drive back to our hotel, without having to worry about paying for parking. I would recommend this hotel and any other Hyatt Place to vacationers, business travelers, or any other person who would like a luxury stay at a more than reasonable price. Thank you Hyatt Place for making my travel experience more luxurious and stress free.

I came into town for an Indians game and went out on a limb going here. I was EXTREMELY impressed! I came with a couple ... girlfriends and the front desk staff was very professional and courteous. They shared with us restaurants around the area and that night had complimentary appetizers and drinks. The room was unbeatable for the price for the size and I absolutely plan on making plans on staying here again soon!

It was about an 8 minute drive into Cleveland for the game. Directions the staff gave were very helpful. There is a parking garage that anyone can park at for cheap right out the field and Quicken Loans.

My wife and I stayed at Hyatt Place while visiting the nearby Cleveland area. The hotel was at a perfect location for easy ... access to downtown and many day trip destinations. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and a had a very good variety of choices. The room was immaculate and spacious. We would stay at another Hyatt Place anytime!

nice hotel overall

overall this hotel was nice, and we DID have a good stay! the hotel itself was a bit hidden behind another hotel at the end ... of a culdesac, and there was no visible hotel sign when you turn onto the road. this hotel had beautiful and impressive decor. the room was clean. the bathroom was clean. the linens were clean. we had a couch in our room which was comfy and also clean. beds were somewhat small, and my husband ended up sleeping on the couch. there was a gigantic tv in our room, but there were no kids channels available (nickelodeon, or disney) which we were very disappointed about since our son is 10. there was a fridge in the room which was nice. the pool was nice and was also clean - with towels provided in the pool area. however, the pool closed at 10, but was located a good distance away from any of the rooms - so i think that it should have been open 24 hours to allow travelers to swim at THEIR convenience. also there was no hot tub. free breakfast was disappointing to us. we have stayed at "lesser" hotels that had free HOT breakfast..... the free breakfast at this hotel included: small pastries with jelly centers (not donuts or muffins!!) cantelope, pineapple, grapefruit, cereal, bagels, and toast, milk and juice. they did have eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausage, etc. AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. what a shame!

"Excellent Choice"
Business Traveler Jul 22, 2009
Everything was great. We were in town for a conference/training seminar and were greeted very pleasantly by the staff at the ... front desk. We were very pleased with our accomodations--everything was plush and very clean. The extra mirrors, outlets and big-screen TV are great--especially if you have two females sharing a room for a conference! The staff downstairs was also knowledgeble about where we could go to grab a bite to eat. The continental breakfast food was fresh and delicious--the pineapple and canteloupe was excellent. It was also very convenient if you are looking for a hotel around the Cleveland area. Our conference began in Garfield Heights at 8:45a.m. and we ran into very little traffic getting there, arriving 20 minutes early! Thank you for a great visit. I will recommend this to my fellow business travelers.

We were in town to go to an Indians game. We had never stayed in a Hyatt hotel before and was not sure what to expect. We ... were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and even gave us a tour of the lobby to show us where everything was. The room was very spacious. The beds were the best hotel beds I have ever slept in. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast was very nice. It was great to have the yogurt and fresh fruit. Most have cold cereal and donuts. This one was had many choices. No doubt we will stay in this hotel again. The only downside to the Hyatt were the absence of signs to show where the hotel was.
