great stay,nice clean place.great proximity to a shopping center and resturants of all kinds.

Granted the decor is a bit dated but you know it will ALWAYS be clean, the staff courteous, the free breakfast is always good and comfort in knowing that you are actually getting what you pay for. My favorite place in the Toledo area! Two thumbs UP!

They are remodeling the hotel and we were given one of the remodeled rooms. It was very nice.

The room was large and comfortable. It had big kitchen that was stocked. The hotel offers a good free breakfast, including eggs and sausage. The hotel needs some updating. You must use stairs to get to the second level, so I would check on that in advance if someone in your party has trouble with stairs. The wifi reception was poor. The ice maker in the refrigerator didn't work

We wanted a hotel where we could feel at home, and get snacks from the store/cook to save money while visiting family, and this one was the only one that fit the bill. This hotel was even better than we anticipated: the 1 bedroom studio suite we stayed in was bigger than my old apartment, and nicer, too! The kitchen included all the basics (stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge) and came stocked w/ dishes-- from a measuring cup and strainer to a cork-remover. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When we went to check out, the concierge on duty even remembered what room we had been in from my visit for more towels the day before! There were several things we did not get to test out ourselves, such as the basketball/game court, BBQ area, pool, and laundry facilities, but knowing they are there adds to the value of the hotel. The only thing that would have made this a bit better for us would have been a better internet connection--the wifi is free, however we were in the building directly next to the main lobby, and never had over 1-2 bars connection. This was barely tolerable for internet, even on our brand new laptops. If you need internet access for business while there, make sure you request a room that has a hard-wire connection available (ethernet)- Only one room in each building has this, not every room. We were able to get a decent signal sitting in the lobby though to check our email so it wasn't anything worth a lesser rating. All in all, we were very pleased, and will definitely stay again when we go back up to visit our family!

The hotel had that ewwwy feeling where you don't want to take off your shoes. We had to switch rooms at 11pm due to noise from the room above. The front desk person said they've had complaints about the people in that room before and it puzzles me why they would continue to put guests below knowing the problem. There were 2 abandon cars in the parking lot with slashed tires. The location was good but I'd rather go out of my way for a cleaner, safe feeling hotel. It was not a pleasant stay.

We stayed two nights while in Toledo for a gymnastics meet. Our suite had a king size bed and a sofa bed. We enjoyed the pool and complementary breakfast, complete with eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. It was a little hard to find at night as the light on the sign was out, but the receptionist gave us clear directions on the phone at about 11:30. A very family friendly place to stay. It is always nice to have a kitchen with a fridge. We did not use the stove, but would have on a longer stay.
