Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GROVE CITY

This was a wonderful hotel for my use going to a nearby conference. The room was certainly comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. The only snag was that the extra bed that I had asked for was not there, so we used the pull out couch but had to put our own sheets on it (which were easy to find in the closet). It would have been nice if that had already been done prior to our arrival. The breakfast was satisfying and diverse. Over all great hotel in the mid price range. There are plenty of restaurants around and only 11 minutes outside downtown Columbus!

The Good... Very friendly staff, Clean Rooms, complimentary breakfast and dinner in lobby was good and had various items to choose from. Hotel is surrounded by a few shopping centers with plenty of restaurants and stores to choose from. The Bad... Old, old mattress, topped with some kind of plastic 'mat'. Pillows were also old and lumpy. Very disappointing considering the most important part of a hotel should be the BED! I would have preferred a new bed over all the other amenities. however seemed a bit outdated. The TV was also about 20 years old...but again, not as important as the Bed! In the end, I'd rate the hotel as 'Average' (The Friendly staff and complimentary food makes up for the negatives). If the beds were update (like other Holiday Inns I've stayed in recently) this could be a 4 star review...

The room was clean, staff was helpful but the rooms on the first and second floors smell like clorine or like there was a pool in your room. They tired to "ozone" the smell out but it didn't work.

The room was okay and clean, but the motel was not as nice as other Holiday Express motels we've stayed in. Breakfast was good.

The Holiday Inn in Grove City was very accessible from the main highway and had a variety of places to eat nearby. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. We were able to get coffee and a snack round the clock and the breakfast was adequate. The room had a refridgerator and a micowave which we appreciated. WiFi availability was also a bonus.

we were there for one week 1 grip.... the person taking care of the room (cleaning) did a poor job . We had to ask for the floor to be cleaned. also they forgot to restock the coffee for the morning. Other than this eveyone was nice the breakfast was very good. and the evening snacks were good.front people very nice

We were in town for my son's college graduation. We had two other families also staying there with us for the graduation. We asked that all five rooms be as close together as possible and that at least one of the rooms be on the first floor for my elderly parents. The first night my husband's brother and his wife were the only other family members staying and we had first floor adjoining rooms. When the other family members arrived on the second day, they were allowed to check in early and we were all in the same wing on the first floor. We had the entire wing to ourselves the second night as the hotel was not at capacity and, therefore, did not have to worry about bothering other guests on the second night. I liked that the rooms were big enough for all of us to gather in one room during the late evening without anyone needing to sit on the floor. There were many wall plugs for our phones, computers, etc. There was plenty of room for our suitcases and hanging clothes. The bathrooms were adequate. We were very near Wal-Mart and other shopping and restaurants. We hadn't been in this area for a couple of years and couldn't believe how much it had changed and grown. We all felt very comfortable and safe in this area. We would stay there again.

We didn't know what to expect from a hotel in a small city, but we were pleasantly surprised to find the Holiday Inn Express in Grove City, OH, amazingly comfortable, friendly, and really nice looking. There is a beautiful wooden staircase in the lobby that makes you feel like you're in someones home. I liked that our room was easily accessable on the first floor. The breakfast area was, again, like being in my own home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only downside was that the sign for this hotel was very small and couldn't been seen from the freeway.

I appreciated the friendly staff who were willing to do whatever they could to make sure our stay was enjoyable. One clerk even went up to our room to make sure it was ready for us.
