Wingate by Wyndham Dayton - Fairborn

The room was modern, well-maintained, and very comfortable; the staff very helpful; and the whirlpool spa on premises a nice respite from a long day of driving. Included breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes was quite tasty. Situated very close to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, this is a sound choice for a night's pre-stay.

Overall the hotel was very nice. We were a little disappointed with the breakfast area and lack of attention to it. The counter area was littered with food that needed wiped off.......there were two staff members arguing and not monitoring what needed to be refilled. Also, food was all over the carpet and surrounding area. Perfect location, however, as it was close to the college.

High Quality Place to Stay at an Affordable Price.

Hotel was nice but we arrived after a long day that began at 5:30 A:M and a long volleyball tournament. We arrived at the hotel only wanting hot showers and a comfy bed. No hot water, wife called desk who was to look into? Nothing happened only luke warm when I showered at 5:30. Upon checking out the customer ahead of me experienced the same but was given a discount on their room. I asked for the same but was told that I booked at a 3rd party and should contact you? I enjoyed my short stay ...I found the hotel location close to shopping, entertainment and and abundance of restaurants. I was thrilled with the free wifi service, finding it easy to access. I was a little disappointed that the pool was down during my stay but filled my time visiting family and enjoying Dayton. I will stay again and next time take advantage of the breakfast, it smelt great! I would suggest that information about local attractions be placed in the rooms so visitors can enjoy the rich heritage that Dayton offers.

My family and I stayed at Wingate when we visited family one weekend. The hotel was clean and our room was comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our time there.

Room was good. Bed a little firm. Breakfast only average. Staff not to good on local recommendations but otherwise helpful. Good location for AF Museum and Wright Bros Memorial.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is fairly new (one year) and the location is across the street from Wright State University. The room was great, it's actually a mini suite with sofa, tables, plush bed, microwave, mini frig and coffee maker. The bathroom is all inclusive with bath/shower and wash basin all together behind one door. This was a deal breaker for us. We will be returning.
