Out of town concert goers
Not a bad visit....
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn because we were attending a concert at the Nutter Center. The hotel was nicely updated and pretty clean. The fitness center was very nice with personal TVs and complementary headphones. However, there was no hot tub and the pool was freezing. The morning breakfast buffet was disorganized because there were only two people working. There was also no food vending machine to grab a snack. The hotel was very close to the Nutter Center and to shopping/dining.

Nice rooms for price...
Took a weekend trip to visit family. Had a good stay. Hotel staff was friendly, and accomodating especially when we arrived early and had requested an early checkin. We received our room right away, but it had not been cleaned. They promptly cleaned the room, and all was well.

Huffman Prairie where the Wright brothers tested their planes, along with the National Park is a must see! Very short drive from the hotel.

GREAT HOTEL
Great hotel except two things, first the kitchen closes early and I had to order out. Second, no transfer between hotel and airport. Taxi cost me $60.00.

very friendly staff
I was attending a workshop at Wright State University and this hotel was basically across the street from campus. Also the hotel was easy access from the freeway, so an easy 30 - 40 minute drive from Dayton Airport (DAY). Very convenient. The staff were very friendly, from check in to bar and restaurant. Could be that's just the way people in Ohio are... : ). Don't know as this was my first time in Ohio. My only complaint is the windows do not open. I really hate sleeping in a room where the windows do not open.

Excellent service
The Holiday Inn Dayton Fairborn was conveniently located just off Highway 675, just a block away from Wright State University. There is a good restaurant in the hotel and many other restaurants in all price ranges located nearby. The room contained a king-sized bed as well as a fold-out sofa bed, with a desk and adequate lighting for reading and working. The staff was very friendly and attended to all our needs quickly and completely.
