Unpleasant
The staff were NOT friendly. The associate switched our room from 2 queen beds to 1 queen and a sofa sleeper citing smoking needs. However he didn't bother to tell me that. We got to the room and it stank of fish and too much air freshener. It was nauseating. The sofa sleeper was in horrible shape, and the room upholstery felt sticky. I complained, and got the room we wanted, minus smoking, fine we'll go out. But no apologies. Just snarky. The beds were hard, the room not quite comfortable. We were thrilled to check out and get out. UGH!

Baymount hotel Fairborn, OH
My DH and I stayed at Baymount for 1 night . Our room was in good size, it was nice and clean and the complimentary buffet breakfast was good. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and I have no problem stay there again.

Great hotel
The Baymont Inn and Suites in Fairborn, Ohio is tops. My two children and I stayed for two nights. The complimentaty breakfast was better then I have had at other hotels. The rooms were spotless and the staff always met you with a smile. The hotel is in a quiet area, with only a gas station near by. But, a short drive on the highway take you right into the heart of Fairborn for resturants and shopping. Then quick drive back to the peaceful area of the hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of a pool. Which left my two young children and I little to do in the evening after a long day of site-seeing.

fine choice for a one-nigth stay
everything was fine and as expected. One comment, which is a general one: it's quite a difference for overall comfort of sleeping depending on if a hotel has a thermostat (with set-point temperature). Otherwise, heeating/cooling works the whole night creating noise and causing temperature become eiher too hot or too cold over time. In general, it's surprising that some 3-star hotels don't have it. Needless to say, our room didn't have a thermostat.
