Red Roof Inn and Suites Cleveland Elyria

This is a hotel that needs a remodel to bring it up to the freshest standards.

We stayed one night. The room was very clean. Bathroom was way too small. The staff was excellent. We really appreciate the fact that they accept pets at no charge. We would stay again. We are actually planning an evening out in St. Clairsville, Oh for our anniversary and would consider staying in the Inn down there.

OVERALL OUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY. WE WERE IN A KING SIZED ROOM THAT WAS VERY ROOMY AND THE MICROWAVE AND REFRIGERATOR THAT WERE IN THE ROOM WAS GREAT AS WELL. OUR ONLY COMPLAINT WOULD BE THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, THAT CONSISTED OF NOTHING MORE THAN TOAST, AND COLD CEREAL.

Good value ,clean, close to mall restaurants etc

We were in town for a dance competition. We showed up to the hotel and put in a room across from the laundry room. When asked for a different room, we were told there weren't any, only to find out that someone else in our group who checked in right after us asked the same thing and were moved to the third floor. The rooms were okay, but on the small side. The bathroom were extremely tiny and ours was not very clean. There was mold in the tub and someone else's hair on the toilet seat. There were not enough towels in the room for 4 of us, so I had to ask for more and the cleaning staff was not very receptive or polite. I also called ahead to find out what gym equipment was at this hotel only to find out that what they told me was wrong. Also did not get accurate information about the continental breakfast which was poorly stocked even though when it was getting pulled down for the day, there were 3 people working. Would not stay here again! Very dissapointed!

Well, I want to visit real good family friends. My mother, younger brother, and I all when. We had a long drive and I loved walking into a smiling face. We went out to eat, took a quick drive to Sundasky, and went to the mall. The whole trip was pleasent. The only thing I did not like were the small bathrooms in the hotel. But over all the expierence was great. I had just payed for a room, twice the amount I paid for this one, about two weeks before and honestly I prefer Red Roof Inn to the other and not just because of the price. Thought that was a plus!

The room was clean and minimally furnished. Room needed paint touch ups. Towels were scratchy. Staff was very nice. We forgot a razor and they provided one for us. Breakfast was fine. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, this was fine. Bring your own pillows. These were lumpy.

We arrived back at the hotel to find that our room keys did not work, not once, not twice but 3 times. In the meantime there were hookers and drug lords running aroung in the hotel lobby at 1130 at night and the front desk clerk wondered why we didn't want to move from the first floor to third floor. If you want to hook up with a "working girl" or need a fix, this is certainly the place to stay. We choose not to and expect a full refund.

Hotel reeked of incense, covering up something. Rooms were a little run down. Disgusting slop pitcher for "liquids" left out by staff at breakfast. I would never return.

The first room we check into smelled like an ashtray, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. We had to downgrade a room (but still paid the same price). That room had a ton of dog hair all over the floor, a dog biscut and a dirty sock left in the room from the last people who stayed in the room. It was extremely noisy the entire night. A terrible experience.
