Room clean, amenities fair, overall great hotel for the money

We went to this area to celebrate my father-in-laws 100th birthday and needed a place to stay for the night. The hotel was sufficient, nothing great nor negative, just adequate. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean.

I checked in Sunday October 2nd and checked out Tuesday October 4th. For the money paid this was a great value. I would improve the continental breakfast as there wasnt much variety.

Nice hotel, clean and very nice hot breakfast,clean and beautiful pool area. However when we arrived in town approx. 11 am. we checked to see what the earliest available check-in time was and could not get a straight answer. We were there for a 50th Anniversary we had a time line for checking in, we didn't end up checking in until 3:45pm(check-in supposed to be at 3pm), Our room was still not ready. The front desk staff was not very professional and was snippy. She was the one we talked to in the am. and so knew we were anxious to get checked-in. Except for the front desk person everyone else was very helpful and pleasent.

When we stayed here, it was really just a place to rest for the night. We didn't really do anything in town. The Best Western had all the bare necessities and that's about it. Typically when we travel, we try to stay at Best Westerns because they are generally well maintained and a great value. This one however fell far short of the usual expectations. We of course realize that staying at a Best Western is never really like staying in the lap of luxury but it is usually, as already stated, a pretty good value. The room we stayed in was comfortable enough I suppose. The beds were clean and very comfortable. However, the A/C unit did not work AT ALL. It blew cold air for about two minutes and then blew hot air out the next two so it did nothing to cool down the room. So we were going to open the window as it happened to be a very nice night outside...well the windows didn't open at all. So our only option was to move to a "Smoking" room which is simply not an option for us. Like I said the beds were clean (thank goodness) but other than that there is nothing too great or even good about this particular Best Western. I have booked a room at the Country Inn & Suites down the road for the trip back home...

I got wanted I wanted from this hotel - clean and easy to get to. It was no-frills, the breakfast was adequate but not great. Considering all, the price may have been a little high, but my goals were met.

Great Continental breakfast. Nice clean room with all the extras. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was nice and provided a good place to hang out while visiting our daughter at Oberlin. The beds were average-blankets and sheets were not great-but they were free of bed bugs. We purposely looked for a hotel with a pool for the kids to play in but the pool was freeeezzzing!! The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was good. My kids thought the doughnuts were yummy but it was short on hot breakfast choices.

The hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. The desk staff was friendly. Only strange thing was the housekeeping staff asking me if we needed anything, and they gave us extra soap, but didn't make the beds.
