Red Roof Inn Columbus Dublin

Very clean, friendly staff. Good location, very close to freeways. Room is small, No blow dryer or iron in room, and I'd recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner (they only had one very small of shampoo and no conditioner), but for the price of the room, I would definitely stay there again, perfect for somewhere to sleep, cheap and very clean! If you get the 2 beds, ask to upgrade to the king bed room, they did it for us for free :)

Surprised that there wasn't a hair dryer. No comfortable chair to relax and read the paper.

My wife and I take weekend trips to Columbus twice a year, usually someplace to the north, each time at a different hotel. The Red Roof was very nice for this price range, and much better than many Red Roofs we have driven by or stayed at over the years. Very friendly staff, with the check-in and check-out process done in 3 minutes or less. All was quiet. Bed very comfortable. Would have liked a wider selection of TV channels-I don't need 5 different channels dedicated to sports. Had room safe, microwave and mini-fridge which all worked fine. Only 2 drawbacks at all were that the place had no elevators, which made it quite rough with my wife who uses a walker or wheel chair most of the time, and the fan/air conditioner which was quite outdated, but seemed to work fairly well.

The room and location was great. I cannot think of anything negative to say about it.

We went for a concert at Nationwide Area and it was about 15 min drive. It was in a very nice business area. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly upon check in and check out. Beds were comfy enough...as comfy as you would expect from a Red Roof. It was perfect for one night stay and couldn't beat the price!

The motel is very close to the zoo. It is in a very quiet upscale suburb. The room was clean and adequate for what I needed. Only complaint was that there was a strong smell of smoke when I first arrived which cleared as soon as I ran the a/c.

The hotel was very clean and recently redone very nicely. My only complaint was that the room key did not function and that it was very inconvenient to be in a room on the second floor - drag all my stuff up there and try to unlock the door only to find out it didn't work. Drag everything back down and go to lobby and get a new room (which I asked to be placed closer to the lobby in the event this key also malfunctioned). I guess I will just ask to be placed closer to the lobby and on the 1st floor in these types of hotels. And maybe check my key (to see if it works) before lugging everything up to my room.

We went to Dublin, OH specifically to spend Mother's Day at the Columbus Zoo. Having never been to Dublin we were amazed by the beautiful neighborhood and loved the closeness of the La Scala restaurant and the French bakery/bistro/wine bar, La Chatelaine. When we left we picked up a bag of goodies with pastries, peasant bread and croissants. We will return to Dublin and the zoo and stay at the Red Roof Inn. For the price you get a clean room, comfortable beds and quiet location. The Red Roof Inn lacked some basics like hair dryer, coffee pot and a small frig, but it did have a room safe.

Not a good stay. There was a bunch of spiders in the tub so couldn't take a shower. The shower didn't look like it hadn't been cleaned in forever. they gave us 2 small towels for 2 people. One little pack of one of our shampoo not even enough to do even oneofour hair. We had to leave the bathroom to even use the sink. It was a bad experience
