I've stayed at many hotels in the Columbus area, all of which have been quite pleasant. I decided to try this hotel in Delaware to save some money, as the price was certainly good. However, we tried to check in all of half an hour early and got a snotty attitude from the desk clerk. She did relent, and the room - while conveniently located near the breakfast area - had a strange smell, and the bathroom had ants. I returned to the front desk a bit later to report the ants, and there was another clerk there who acted as though she couldn't be bothered to take care of my issue. (The ants remained the entire trip.) The next day, we left the room to do some exploring and returned around 6:00 p.m. - and the room hadn't been cleaned! I called the front desk and the clerk said she'd talk to housekeeping; she came back to the phone to say sorry, all the maids had clocked out for the day. The entire time I was on the phone with her, I was watching a maid clean a room directly across the hall from me. The desk clerk said that the best she could do was give me clean towels, which I would have to fetch from her myself. Overall, just terrible service.....definitely not worth the money I saved.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Any attractions require a drive, as this hotel is largely in the middle of nowhere. The Columbus Zoo isn't far, however, and is one of the best I've ever visited.

Great for College Visits
This Best Western is ideal for visiting Ohio Weslyan University. It is only 5 minutes away and located in a shopping center if you need to pick anything up quickly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. WiFi access was excellant if you need to do some work on a laptop while visiting.
