Needs updating/repairs
I did like the bathroom vanity, shower curtain, and TV -- the water pressure, comfort of beds and pillows were fine -- HOWEVER, wallpaper was peeling, walls were buckled, toilet seat was damaged, and worst of all was that the heater blew luke-warm and cold air -- the staff was kind enough to bring us extra blankets upon request, but the heater was NOT fixed, despite a staff member fiddling with it at 1:30 a.m., and despite asking for a new room, were told "it would be fine." When we woke up after being bundled up under extra blankets, the room was just as cold....when we complained to housekeeping and the front desk, we were just told, "Oh sorry." NOT such a great response when the outside temps were below freezing....so we will not return there. And, I advise all others to check the heater before you accept a room

Not bad
For the price I think this is a decent place to stay. The only grip I had was that the shower in the room was backed up. Other than that, the room was fine. The location is nice because it's got its own parking lot with ample space, and you are less than a minute from I-75. The front desk staff seemed friendly when I checked in.

Okay, not great
We went for an overnight and chose this hotel due to the fact that it had an atrium with an indoor pool. The pool and game room were closed when we got there at check in (4 pm). At check in there was only one person on duty and she was trying to check people in, answer phones and get things for other guests. At one point she commented "I hate this place sometimes." She was obviously overwhelmed, but it made me re-think staying there. Our room was large and clean, but we had no shampoo and had to go to the desk for some, plus get bedding for the sofa bed. We thought we would spend some time after dinner at the game room and pool, but there were so many children running wild, that even my 12 year old did not want to stay down there.

Satisfied
This was the lowest package so I was a little nervous taking it. The hotel was clean and quite. It offered an indoor pool and a small gym. I can not emphasize how clean it was. It was not in the best neighborhood but it was one exit away from food places and two exits away from a food row. The hotel also had a food place inside. It is right off the freeway so it gave easy access to everything. If you are looking for a good deal and CLEAN this is your place.

Electronic lock wouldn't lock!
This is my 3rd visit to this Ramada Plaza hotel in Dayton in 6 years to take in the Dayton Hamvention held there annually. Because of a hotel mgmt./owner change recently, there was no alcohol available on the premise. Biggest issue was the room door lock didn't! The card-reader electronic lock failed to work and despite 3 personal contacts over two days to the front desk and their assurances it would be fixed, it wasn't.

Fine, large room
This is an unusual place, obviously built for another purpose, but it offers large clean rooms and good service at an affordable price. I did find that one side of the hotel faces the highway, and it can be a little loud with semis doing their thing throughout the night.

Pretty Comfortable
The hotel was clean, very nice, not a pretty picture from the outside..but very pleased with the comfort of the room. Had a great night of sleep, and the hotel over all was a pleasure. The restaurant was priced a little high, so we didnt eat there. Indoor pool very nice.

Dining tip:
Not Applicable
There are no restaurants close to this hotel. There is a gas station across the street and that is it. To find a place to eat you had to get on the interstate and drive a few miles up.
