Extended Stay America - Dayton - South

I really was impressed with my room and the courtesy of the Staff!! Everything was point on!! The only thing I would change is upgrading the TV in my room. But I would still go back even if it had the same one. I was very impressed with my whole experience!!! Great Job!!!

the room I requested wasn't available. I was sent to a room with twin beds. Not good for a big guy like me so I ended up in a room that was not renovated and a smoking room. Once the renovation is complete, it should be an OK place to stay.

I wound up making 4 different reservations for the week, and the staff helped me not have to change rooms. The room was cleaned up during the stay, and fresh towels were always available at the lobby desk.

ESA South Dayton was clean, quiet, and the staff was excellent. This is a great, no frills, cost effective facility and I recommend it for its location and accommodations.

Hotel was neat, clean and just what I needed for an low cost stay. I stayed in a hotel near her a week ago, paid twice the money and it was dirty! My only complaint was there was a room full of children above my room that jumped on their floor and ran from dawn till 11 p.m. daily during my 3 day stay.

Very good for the price, which was less than expected. The room was neat, clean and comfortable. We made use of the kitchenette, and everything worked well. The carpet could have been cleaned better, but everything else was great.

The hotel was in a nice spot. The thing that really bothered me was that when I entered to check in, there were two men in the office with the clerk; they were getting directions. The clerk asked them to wait for a minute so that she could check me in, then proceeded to say my name, room number, and that I was alone out loud in front of the two men. Then, when I went to my room, I noticed there was paper stuffed into the peephole; I was unable to get it out...I realize I am a bit paranoid, but I slept with the ironing board propped against my door to ensure that I would wake up should someone enter...

we visit friends and family monthly and stay at similar rated hotels....if your looking for a luxuary stay this isnt it...if your looking for a good value with a friendly staff this is it

Noisy hall vent Doors opening and closing are loud However, was, generally, a good experience

Accommodations were generally good. Room was clean but it was evident that some maintenance was needed (wallpaper, chipped moldings). Person(s) in room above mine were very, very noisy: consistently awakened me at 3:15 - 4:15 a.m. for long periods of time. There was bumping, slamming throughout the day. I reported this to the office shortly after I checked in. The noise did not stop. No one is in the office during the night when noise was really excessive and prevented sleeping. I was given a $25 coupon upon check-out, however, that did not make uo for the 4 nights that I lost sleep, and the constant noise during the day. I had already declined the room I was originally assigned. I had booked a deluxe; the only one that was available was a handicapped room which was dark and on the lower level, not a relaxing atmosphere at all. In spite of this experience, I would try this hotel once more since it is convenient, rooms are a good size, and it has a full kitchen. However, if any of the same problems are encountered, I would not be willing to return and my rating would definitely drop.
