Crowne Plaza DAYTON

Given the cost of the hotel, it is a good value. Location is nice, right in the heart of downtown, with walking distance to the Oregeon District. I would stay here again.

Overall, it was a nice hotel, but for the price, I expected more. The positives were the room was very clean, the staff was very helpful, we were able to park close on the street for free and the location was great for being downtown. The negatives were the bed was too hard and the room was really small! No continental breakfast either and the hotel breakfast was really pricey.

Couteous staff, nice lounge to watch college football, good food and love the parking garage.

The rooms are not huge but the service is excellent and when the renovations are done I really want to get back. The staff truly make this hotel great.

I stayed here because it was convenient to my business meetings. I was not told the hotel was undergoing renovations, so there were paint fumes, dust, and dirt everywhere. I am highly allergic, so I am now very ill. My room was across from both the ice machine and the exercise room, so there was plenty of noise. The restaurant was closed at lunchtime (again, no one told me). The restaurant service (hopefully due to the renovations) was horrible, except for the waitress who was on duty during breakfast. The food was marginal and expensive. I ordered room service once and waited nearly an hour. The giftshop was closed, as well. No one took the dirty glasses or cups from my room from Wednesday night until I checked out Friday. The in-room coffee maker was not cleaned. There was no iron/ironing board. There was a dirty cleaning towel in one of the bureau drawers. While I understand the hotel's desire to stay open during renovations, the renovation information should have been on their website (so I had time to research a different hotel choice) or given to me immediately when I checked in. I was only there for a short stay, so I did not change hotels...which is my own fault...but I thought I could make the best of it for such a short time. Not a good choice. Particularly in this day and age, customer service should be kicked up several notches when the incovenviences are so many and so great.

I was in town visiting friends. The hotel staff was very friendly. I felt the room was a bit small for what I paid. The parking also cost $6 a day. The location is nice. I was able to walk to the Dayton Dragons game easily. The hotel was in nasty looking shape, but they did note that they were under renovations.

The hotel was run down, the lobby bathroom looked like a gas station bathroom. The inside to the soap continer was sitting on the sink. The lock was broken. The rooms are cramped and need renovations. Definitely was not worth the money. The customer service was great. The customer service was the best part of this hotel experience.

This Hotel may be in the heart of the business district but it has no soul . while the room was clean and the bed was comfortable the walls where in need of a major make over .my desk chair was broken the arm rest kept coming loose . the wallpaper was peeling and not just in the room in the halls and lobby as well. I saw they are about to redo the hotel and it needs to be sooner rather than later. Then to top it off the bar /restaurant is not open till 5 what if I just want to sit and read no can do you have to go out so the hotel has no place to go needless to say I was not a happy camper.

GREAT EVERYTHING IN WALKING DISTANCE LOVE THIS HOTEL WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT
