Sheraton Suites Akron/Cuyahoga Falls

The hotel is located in a nice clean area with a small shopping courtyard and outdoor theater across the street that hosts summer events. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the service was fine. The only problem with my stay was the loud frieght train that runs all night on the " falls side ". If you stay on that side request lower rooms to help with the noise from the horn.

I arrived early and after a late breakfast in the hotel restaurant, the hotel was able to check me in. It was a beautiful suite and I decided to take advantage of room service and just relax and catch up on work that evening.

We stayed overnight for my husband's birthday. The accommodations were amazing. The room with the sitting area and king size bed were wonderful and we overlooked the Cuyahoga river and falls. The fitness room and pool was amazing and the restaurant and bar overlooking the falls gave a great ambiance. Would stay here again in a minute. Highly recommend it!

Great time and staff felt at home...

Close to train and whistles from train blasting at all hours thru the night. Beautiful hotel but not the best location. Staff at check-in very friendly and helpful. Friday night had a 3 a.m. alarm and hotel was evacuated. Thank goodness it was a false alarm because the staff was not and is not prepared for a real one (emergency). After being at the rear entrance of the hotel for about 30 minutes people started going back in. I called front desk on my cell phone and [...] answered. I asked if it was ok to go back in, he stated -" Ah I think so??", I told him that it would be nice to have someone from the hotel come to the rear entrance to let us know what was going on. He said "Do you want me to send someone bakc there??" Not a good feeling to have to stay there til monday morning, Not a very comfortable feeling at all.

All I can say is that I loved my suite and the set-up 100%. Both floors were very roomy and airy, just the way I like it. No clutter. I loved that the bathroom downstairs was provided for visitors apart from the lavished upstairs bathroom for us. We enjoyed it very much. Whenever I return hopefully I will be staying here definitely. The only problem I had was the internet connection, we could not go online with the PS3 and the signal was sooo weak. The food was good even though it is a tad expensive, but with my suite I had a kitchen so I made use of that too off and on. We had a romantic and lovely time with little to no disturbance. Thank You!

We visited the area for a basketball tournament at Akron University. The room was very spacious and up to date! and the view of the Cuyahoga Falls was great!!!

Great hotel. Great customer service. When we got home we realized my son left his Nintendo DS in the room. I didn't think we'd ever see it again, but they found it. That doesn't happen very often! Thanks for the great service!
