Great location for campus activities
We needed a convenient location to campus area. Fair price and breakfast included. Our room was 'worn'-- slow drains,damaged carpet.hard bed and all night outdoor spotlight shining in the window.

There for the Junior National Volleyball tournament
The hotel is old and dirty. I had the suite and 2 of the 3 airconditions were not working. The hall way out side of the rooms were like a suana. I was very disappointed especially for the price of $200.00 a night for a suite. I checked out the very next day and went to another hotel. The very worst hotel I have ever stayed

OSU family
So so...
The location was very good. Needed somewhere to stay while visiting OSU. Hotel just down the street from The Schott. Location was the best part of the whole deal...beds were terrible. Rock hard. Air conditioner would not cool the room until we took the dirty filters out and laid them on the floor. Front desk staff nothing to write home about. Not very friendly but not really rude, either. Breakfast was typical fare. They put the bacon in a covered warmer with the sausage and scrambled eggs...made for VERY soggy bacon! All in all, it was very unimpressive.

I was there for a dog show and I had dogs with me...yet got a complaint for a puppy barking. I received no room service at all and was billed extra for cleaning the room after check-out. I even empted all the garbage cans before I left! I was also billed for an extra night when I called in advance and said I would be there early. I was told after 2 am I would not be charged the additional night but I was charged anyway.

great community feel
University Plaza Hotel and Conference Center is a great choice if you are a buckeye fan. On game day the staff is dressed in osu attire, it gives a great feeling of community with the school.

Proximity to downtown Columbus
The reason i selected this hotel/location was the non-availability of rooms in downtown Columbus this weekend--was pleasantly suprised with all aspects of the facility and proximity to downtown. Would definitely stay at this location again based on experience of this first visit, and highly recommend to friends.
