Ohio State Buckeyes fans will get a kick out of this hotel’s location
The Red Roof Inn Columbus The Ohio State University is on the north end of the university campus. This pet-friendly property is set up like a motel, with exterior entrances to rooms. Free amenities include Wi-Fi, parking, and lodging for kids 17 and under who share an adult's room. Pets stay free too. Guests can reserve a spot on the free shuttle to the Ohio State University Medical Center.

Great Price for the Patient Traveler
Everything was fine except that the cleaning service "forgot" to clean my room 3 days in a row despite my request. Oversight or a worker working too fast. A great price for a great location.

Bit disappointed with red roof
The beds were flat, there were stains on the comforter, and the pillows were flat. I expected better from Red Roof; especially this one as it is extremely close to OSU and the Arena. Was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at.

Better than expected
I read some previous reviews that were not too great, but after staying here, I'm convinced that this place was just right for the price. It was clean, comfortable, and only a couple miles from the Nationwide Arena.

non smoking room
Even thro they were not that booked, the promised non-smoking room had a heck of alot of smokers in there previously. The smell of smoke was very strong. Front staff was very helpful in finding some street locations for me.

Red Roof Review
Great place for parents to stay for OSU orientation. Cheaper than most. Only one small pack of tissues on the counter . . . not enough for my cold I was having. Had to get hair dryer and iron from housekeeping.

Rooms not cleaned daily, sinks not wiped, carpets not vacuumed, toilet dirty for the whole week. They offer Wi-Fi but no support for difficulty connecting to their router.

wonderful stay
the hotel was clean and not outdated or dirty as previous red roof inns have been that i have stayed in.. i enjoyed the room alot. staff was nice.
