Basic hotel, overall good value

The staff was very friendly when checking in and out. The hotel was nothing spectacular - the lobby and hallways could use some updating and better lighting. The room was more upgraded with a comfortable bed, flat screen tv, and nice feel. The heater/fan could be upgraded - just a wall unit, not controllable by a thermostat, just high/low heat/cool. The tv didn't get very many channels, but that wasn't a big deal. The breakfast wasn't anything special - bagels, toast, english muffins, muffins (which were delicious), cereal, etc. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for an inexpensive hotel with basic amenities, just to stay a night or two.

I'll be back

I've stayed here before several times before and I'll stay here again. Recent renovations make it even better than the last time. Staff is friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for what I needed being near enough to the fair grounds and other attractions. No problem here at all. Thanks!

Great new beds

The wedding we attended was great. The Ramada is currently upgrading. The new beds and TV were great. Hopefully they will finish soon with the additional upgrades.

Very Basic

No ice machine or pop/candy machines on the second floor. Remote for TV did not work limiting channels available. Safety issues with exposed wires / lights in the hallway. Very basic!

Not my favorite place to stay

Wasn't impressed. First floor smelled of smoke, eggs ran out at breakfast more than 1/2 hour before it was too end but they were never replenished. It was okay but nothing to write home about.
