Motel 6 Columbus OSU

Well, I checked in & the first room I got the door lock was broken & I needed to get another room. The second room I got still hadn't been cleaned (this is at 6 pm). The third room was a typical Motel 6 room, nothing special about it, though it did have hardwood floors instead of carpeting. The toilet had an issue that it was running on & off during the night. Also this hotel is right next to the train tracks & I previously stayed on a room in the front side of the hotel & the noise wasn't too bad, but this time I stayed on the back side & the train was pretty loud. If you pick this hotel you probably have a reason (like to save $20 versus the Ramada across the street), but you get what you pay for.

we only slept there. shower was to scary to get a bath in. we spent entire weekend at rock concert and didn't bother going back to motel sunday night even though we already paid for that night.

Good for people on a budget, you couldnt ask for more for thye price. If you need a place to sleep, change cloths, and get into the city without getting lost this is a good hotel i will use again.

The front door did not seal. And there was toilet paper stuck in a hole in the bathroom afraid to pull it out didnt know what would crawl out.

This Motel 6 was more dirty than the last one I stayed in! There were 2 cockroaches in our room. The drain was clogged in the tub. The phone was unplugged and there was no place to plug it in, so what's the point in having one in the first place? They never vacuumed our room while we were there for 4 days. There was a spider in it's web in the corner of the room, so clearly, no cleaning was done. The blankets and pillows were clearly very old and needed to be replaced. The door didn't shut properly so you could hear the busy freeway and there was air coming in through the crack. NOT a good time!

The Motel 6 at OSU - Columbus, Ohio had what appeard to be new carpeting. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The shower worked great - lots of hot water and good pressure. The cable channels are very limited. There is no continental breakfeast. I did not like the fact that there is a difference in rates between Motel 6's in the same area. They do not provide a Do Not Disturb sign and I do not like the fact that housekeeping knocks on your door (I'm an entertainer and need to sleep during the day).
