Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU

Very comfortable. New. Staff helped us move to another room when our original room did not have a bathtub, only a shower. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast bar.

The Hyatt is in a new development and has restaurants within a stones throw. The hotel is new and has a crisp contemporary ambiance. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made you feel welcome. Cool room with a big screen flat TV that you could watch from the sofa or bed. This will be my hotel of choice when I visit that part of Columbus!!!

I am highly impressed with this hotel. The building is new and very modern. It is refreshingly different from the established hotels in this league. The lobby has a touch of a Museum of modern Art. The room had a very nice and generous architecture with high-quality furniture, a state-of-the-art flat-panel TV, refrigerator and a really functional desk to work on. The only thing missing was a bathtub, but that is not important to me. Everything in this hotel appear to be new, modern, re-thought (e.g. a checkout terminal), and perfectly clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the procedure of checking in and checking out was quick and free of unnecessary complications. The location is great with regard to downtown Columbus and, important in my case, the Greater Columbus Convention Center. An excellent breakfast was included in the price. I also enjoyed free wireless internet and free parking. I travel a lot, and this is one of the best hotels I have seen in the United States to date.

Stayed at this Hyatt while in Columbus on business. Room was clean, comfortable. Checking in was smooth. Continental breakfast was ordinary and somewhat Spartan. Convenient to downtown and the university.

The location was great, the room was spacious comfortable and clean. Everything looks new and fresh. Even the shower was over the top.

My friend and I went there just for a short "getaway" to do something different because we couldn't afford to take another trip we had considered that was out of state. We really enjoyed the stay and kept thinking on the way home how we'd like to come back as soon as we can. It was a great hotel to stay at and there was a lot going on the weekend we were in Columbus. The city has so much to offer and the hotel really made the trip worth taking.

A very lovely mid-range hotel. Clean, neat and well furnished. New and convenient with large garage and restaurant 300 feet away. Good breakfast. Attended Ohio State University Medical School Convocation. A great couple of days

When making the reservations we had actually assumed they were for the downtown Hyatt Regency as it was done on a cell phone at a very fast pace on New Years Eve. When getting to the front desk we found that we did not have reservations there but at Hyatt place which is only a mile away. So we panic for a moment and then hop in the car and drive a mile to be met with a room that for the price was much larger than what we would have recieved at the regency and was verrrrry modern/chic in design. Its location was roughly walking distance from arena as well if your a city person and know what a walk is.

The Hotel staff is friendly and the service provided was exceptional. We were provided a shuttle from the Hotel to downtown Columbus and the hotel rooms were spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Hyatt Place (Columbus, OH) is perfectly located in the upcoming Grandview Yard complex. Minutes from downtown and The Ohio State University. Better yet it is walking distance from the great taste and lovely shops of Grandview, one of the many vibrant urban personalities Columbus has to offer its visitors. Hyatt Place greeted us with a smile and left us leave with one of our own. With the room door opening we could instantly feel the modern comforts and style that were so very perfect for our stay.
