Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites COLUMBUS UNIV AREA - OSU

We drove almost four hours to see a show, and on our way in our exit was closed. The wonderful staff at the hotel directed us right to the hotel. Without them we would have been so lost. Upon arrival they had a room ready to go for us even though we were early. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our stay was great!

The hotel is updated and clean with very friendly staff. Convenient location to campus, downtown, and local restaurants, Wi-Fi included. The morning complimentary breakfast was more than I had expected. Only one complaint. The hallways were quite noisy with other guests coming and going. Mostly younger people. While I was away, I put a Do Not Disturb on my door. When I returned, my room had been cleaned and my DND sign was missing. (Probably a prank by another guest). The desk staff apologized for the occurrence. (it wasn't their fault). Next time, I will put my sign out and make a call to the desk to be sure they know not to clean the room. This was my second stay. I will definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and friendly. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised.

About a year old, this hotel was clean and well maintained so far. Staff members were courteous and friendly. It's close to Riverside medical center, Ohio State, and several restaurants. Breakfast was strictly ordinary, fitness center has aerobic machines but no dumbbells or stability balls. I didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. My room had a table and chairs, but I had to move the table to use it as a desk. Something in the air at this and some other hotels gives me a headache.

A little bit on the pricey side but still a very good value

I've stayed at several H.I.EXprs in other cities. This was not one of the better ones. TV didn't work properly and when we called the front desk, they said the guy to fix it was not on the property. They never followed up. Hotel was clean, but room staff didn't replenish supplies. Breakfast, however, is something to "crow" about. Food was tasty, plentiful and with good variety. Coffee and tea were also quite good...not always possible to say when you frequent these chain hotels. OK, it wasn't Peets...but at least it wasn't Nescafe!

My wife and I brought our daughter to visit her friends from OSU. We all had a great time in the area. Took my wife to Easton shopping. Wow what a place.

I visited Columbus for 4 days. I travelled there to attend OSU's fall graduation and selected a hotel in close proximity to the university. I was very pleased with the accomodations. The room was a good size in square footage and comfortable with two queen-size beds. Breakfast was included with the room and I enjoyed the variety of breakfast choices set out each morning. The hotel staff were excellent and extremely helpful; the breakfast crew were especially pleasant, not rushing me out even on the morning I arrived 10 minutes before shut down.
