Extended Stay America - Columbus - East

- I enjoyed time with my family and it was nice to have space to invite family over. Having a small kitchen was nice too. - I enjoyed my stay, but there was just some unexpected happenings, which could happen anywhere. Like early in the morning (7:45am) the fire alarm went off for at least 30 min. and there was no fire in sight. And on the next day there was a helecopter with a spotlight searching for someone late at night, which was a little bit scary. But overall there are no complaints. I would stay there again.

I was working in the area and for the price, you can't beat this location. It's quiet and close to restaurants and grocery stores. The carpets were stained throughout my room and the recliner was so stained that I wouldn't sit in it. Since it's Extended Stay, your room is cleaned once a week. You can, however exchange linens at the office or pay for additional cleanings. I did book again for next week. As I said, you can't beat the price.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was small, but adequate. Well equipped. Not enought channels on TV. Good value for the cost.

The staff was very nice but this hotel should be condemned. They tried to clean it but it is old and run down. Replace the carpet it is discusting. We left after one night and went to the Hilton. I want a refund for the 2 other nights credited to my credit card or I will never use this site or orbitz again...When you fly accross country due to the loss of a loved one, you don't expect to find something this bad to boot.

I went home and told other family members about ESA. Even though I was not staying for an extended period of time (just two nights), they made me feel very comfortable. Having the kitchen area made it nice to keep my food and drinks cold. Knowing that I could stay in and eat if I wanted was also a plus. Where I live there is a major hospital and university. I told the hotel receptionist how I thought this would be a great place to have in our area. So many times families have to stay for extended periods of times because of loved ones in the hospital. It is very hard to find someplace that is reasonable. And, add in the university students who's parents come to visit, etc. This would be a big asset to our town.

ESA Columbus east was an adequate place to stay. I was a one night guest, and it lacked some ammenities that I would expect from a traveler oriented hotel. It was clean, the bed was fine, but the furnishings were well used. It had a kitchen with enough equipment for me to prepare a meal, but I did not use it. For the price it was fine, but don't expect more than adequate but basic room. It is truely for those that need to move into a place for several days. Most of the other rooms seemed to be occupied by crews from the phone company in town for an extended stay.
