Location was good, but the hotel just lacked that "friendly place to be" feeling.

Excellent hotel accomodations
We were there to visit our friends that moved there, we had them come to our room for some christmas gifts and had a great time, the room was very roomy and the cleanliness was excellent, our friends were very impressed with the room also. The only bad experience was that we went down for breakfast an hour before it wwas over and there was nothing left but juice and coffee, we had to go eat somewhere else.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Don't rely on getting breakfast and as promised, just plan on going out. Obviously the hotel knew they were sold out but didn't make the necessary adjustments to have enough food available, but then again it was Ohio state vs Michigan game weekend.

Very convenient
I really appreciate this hotel. Amazing proximity to I-71, but very quiet hotel. Travelled with my 2 year old and the indoor pool was a treat for us! Check in was easy, room was very clean and quiet and there is plenty of parking. Beds were comfortable and breakfast had lots of hot/cold options. The staff seems very hardworking. Overall a perfect stay! We ate with family nearby, but there are 10+ restaurants immediately around the hotel

Super Dave
We were bad guests - apparently!
My wife and I reserved a room for 6 nights. The purpose of our trip was to visit our daughter, son-in-law, and our 2 grandchildren. Our daily routine consisted of eating breakfast (which was included and very good) and then departing for the day to spend with our daughter's family. We spoke with the cleaning staff on the first day and asked that the beds be made and that we have clean towels on a daily basis throughout our stay. On Saturday, we departed a bit later than usual and returned at ~ 3 pm to change and go out to dinner. For some strange reason, our room was as we had left it. The cleaning staff was still around and guests were checking in so I spoke to the on-duty manager. I explained to her what had happened. I told her that we would be gone until at least 9 pm and requested that the beds be made and that we have clean towels. She acknowledged my request. When we returned, we were disappointed that the room was as we had left it. We called the office and received clean towels which were delivered by the same person that I had spoken to at 3 pm. Because this was our fourth night, the sheets should have been changed but this had not been done. On Sunday morning, we departed at 9 am and returned at 9:15 pm to find the room as we had left it - no clean towels or made beds. The same night manager was on duty and provided towels - again. The next day we spoke to the manager and a sales rep. They offered an apology which should have been offered after their first cleaning failure. The incident should have never been repeated. What was even more unnerving was the fact that we were made to feel that it was somehow our fault because we had used our "do not disturb" sign while we were getting ready to depart. Apparently the cleaning team makes a single assessment of what needs to be cleaned and a displayed "do not disturb" sign during their assessment automatically takes you off the list. We received no compensation with regard to a rate discount, but my wife received a gift set of soaps and lotions - woo hoo! I guess that they raided the supply cabinet. Based on our first 2 days and 3 nights, we were considering staying in a suite at our next visit. However, that will not happen. The location is good and the facility is nice, but we won't be going back. I felt that we were an imposition rather than paying guests.
