rooms outdated and smelly, halls needed paint and cleaning, elevator was extremely slow and scary. Breakfast was that of high school cafeteria.

Was dissapointed - Hotel had awfully dirty carpets -UGH- took 30 minutes talking to an IT rep with a heavy accent to hook up to WiFi. Breakfast was awful. Not enough parking for all guests and overflow parking was behind a stone wall - NOT SAFE. Everyone was friendly.

Comfort Inn Downtown Columbus
When I checked in, they had already checked me in since someone had a similar last name. The room they gave me smelled like smoke so when I asked for another one they gave me the only room available which was a handicap room. The breakfast bar was not stocked and the girl was very rude when I asked what was going on. The waffle mix wasn't filled, there were no cups for juice and the hot breakfast pans were empty.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Mannerchor dinner and theater at 966 South High Street Yummy German food and entertainment. I would also suggest the Book loft and cup of joe behind the hotel on Third street. We also had great food at Max and Erma on Third and Frankfort street

UPDATED ROOMS
HAD STAYED HERE MANY TIMES WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS A STUDENT AT OHIO STATE ABOUT 6 YRS AGO. LOVE THE UPDATED ROOMS AND ENTRANCE LOBBY. SORRY THE POOL WAS NOT OPEN AS OF 5/20/10.
